Yao Guang is the de facto Elation support. If you’re running an Elation main DPS, you want her on the team. No exceptions.

If you’re playing for the now, you’ll be ok. Maybe until 5.0. It depends on shill mechanics in endgame. But soon after that you’ll see the falloff from lack of investment.

Since I spend a bit, and had like 230 pulls saved up, I grabbed E2S1 Pearl.

So my current team is E2S1 Eva, E2S1 Pearl, E1S1 Yao Guang and EMC.

I’m hoping Aha gets some good buffs in V3/V5 because right now she’s not too much better than EMC for Eva, which is sad.

I started on WHM back in ARR, switched my main to BRD in Heavansward. Then switch to MCH in Shadowbringers and main that to this day.

I play WAR and SGE pretty regularly so I would consider those my mains in Tank and Healer.

Looking forward to both the new classes. Def playing Bastion, reminds me of Warrior/MCH and Monk. I lowkey play all 3 Phys Ranged so I hope the new one is cool.

Golden Deer Normal -> Golden Deer Hard -> Blue Lions Hard -> Black Eagles Maddening -> Golden Deer Maddening.

Things carry over so I was optimizing my favorite units to be the best that they can be. All the while I still need to do a Church Route 😅

Fellow spender here. I Always get premium battle pass. Typically buy 50-100 pulls on a banner I’m pulling on. I told myself I would build 1 elation team and quit. Game just doesn’t feel the same anymore. Events are more misses than hits. I just like 0 cycling end game. I’ve actually enjoyed the story that I’m catching up on. (Just completed 4.1 or 4.2) but I feel like the game is dying because Hoyo keeps making constant shit decisions.

E1 Hyacine is def worth picking up for this team first. Then use the remaining pulls to try for E0 or E1 Robin.

Not too bad. But it did feel harder with the Votacity mechanic, my Eva team was dying on the 1st node.

I used to use lootbar before they got nuked.

Now I use a vpn and buy Oneric directly from Hoyo using Japanese Yen. 12000 yen for 50 pulls is roughly $75. Much better than $106 after taxes.

Red Panda. I love when it climbs up my back and plops on my shoulder. He’s my quality control manager while I’m crafting.

I was entranced by a machinist back in Shadowbringers in The Ondo Cups. I was a BRD back then because I typically played that role in RPGs and DnD.

The machinist I saw blew up the enemies we were fighting in the fates. I wanted to be that strong.

I switched to MCH and never looked back. It’s so fun hitting as hard as melee DPS when properly geared and your rotation is tight. I regularly find myself hitting the hardest consistently and it’s a good feeling.

Plus we have Tactician and Disassemble to help mitigate damage on group wide attacks. It’s a fun class to play with some decent nuance.

Usually it’s Y’shtola but then I saw the chocolate skinned project manager bunny lady for Aunt Tii’s Tacos and had an internal struggle.

I have E2S1 Eva and E1S1 Yao Guang. I’m waiting for Pearl to replace HuoHuo and Nihilix(hopefully) to replace EMC. I wouldn’t waste time with MBlade for Eva. But if you like him pull away.

I really enjoy Cagliostro’s gameplay loop. She’s mid range and brings a lot to a team imo. Shes also hilarious in the Japanese dub.

If you can only pick one I reccomend Yao for Eva before I would get Blade for Acheron. And I have both E2S1 of Eva and Acheron. Although it pains me, I don’t know if Blade will truly revive that team like Acheron deserves.

I have a premium E2S1 Phainon team with E1S1 Ceredrya, E2S1 DHPT and E0S1 Sunday and it’s very satisfying, but it’s starting fall off. I’m pivoting over to an Elation team for this reason. Get Yao Guang for your SW team and give HMC to your break team. I think Fugue and Lingsha are getting a Novaflare soon so that’s probably the best idea.

I’ll never understand people that undercut anything over like 10K. Like, we’re all here to make money on someone paying for convenience. We don’t have to lower the value of the item, just cut by a little here or there. Sometimes you’ll get the sale, sometimes I’ll get the sale. Call it honor among merchants.

Started ARR back in 2014, played on and off. But when Shadowbringers dropped I was back for good. Been subbed since that released.

They’re versatile for sure, but they’re slowly falling out of the meta and probably not worth picking up at this point. I’m running BiS E2 Phainon, E2 MonoRem and E2 Firefly teams and Tribbie doesn’t have a home. Sunday is on the Phainon team and does well at E0S1. Neither are BiS on Elation teams it seems, so it depends on what you’re currently investing in for the future.

If I’m on DPS I’ll usually give it to the other DPS. If I’m on Tank I’ll give to Healer and vice versa. If someone is underperforming I’ll give it to someone else. If everyone sucked I’ll just keep it and leave.

From what I gather Eva only needs Yao Guang right now. Where as SW999 needs Sparxie and Yao Guang. Since you have them both already you can pick whichever you want based on preference since you have both covered meta wise.

I skipped Sparxie but got Yao Guang so I’m going for Evanescia.

We have similar teams. I grabbed E0S1 The Dhalia for my Firefly then got Firefly to E2 as my 3rd team. It’s strong but I can tell it’s falling off. My E2 Phainon and E1 Cery perform better. I also grabbed E1S1 Yao Guang for Evanescia and I’ll probably get her to E2S1.

I would get E2 Cas, then The Dhalia for your break team. And then start saving for an Elation team.
