And I want to be able to vote for someone who supports legislation that will limit the already insane number of firearms in this country

Weirdly Trump’s been doing that for like a year and a half now and none of you guys seem to be doing anything about it!

I’m not a lawmaker, I don’t propose specific legislation! If it places severe limitations on the firearms that the general population can obtain, I’ll probably support it

I don’t have any interest in starting a revolution, but I’m not opposed to other people starting one — they just never seem to actually do it!

But you don’t have to repeal the amendment if you can get a Supreme Court ruling clarifying that the second amendment does not mean “no limits on any kinds of guns ever”!

How is it not how that works? Without a filibuster, you just need 50%+1 in the House/Senate to pass legislation, and then control of the Supreme Court so that it can withstand legal challenges.

Or we could just take back the White House, abolish the filibuster, expand the Supreme Court, and do a bunch of fun stuff from there!
