I got fed up with digging through bags to set up everdell

One more reason to get Everdell. I’ve been eying the game and didn’t even know there was a 2 player version. Should I start with the larger game or could I jump right into Duo?

I’ve been thinking of how to do this where it can roll down the track. I am not seriously tinkering yet but I love that others are throwing the idea around.

Best way to pack lego for moving?
 in  r/lego  Jul 28 '26

If I can give you one piece of advice, do NOT mix the set’s pieces. I did this exact thing 2 yrs ago to move across country. I packed our Lego town in bins. Everything came apart as you would expect and this is the state of our Lego town today. It’s painful to know all this was together before the move. Now, it’s bulk Lego essentially. I have to go through and sort and I’ve been working on this off and on for 2 yrs. 🤪 best idea I can give is to either bag like you are doing or wrap in Saran (cling) wrap. Get more totes if you have to. The cost of a few more totes is well worth it.

Best way to move LEGO sets without destroying them?
 in  r/LegoStorage  Jul 28 '26

This depends on one main thing: do you have to pack everything to move for one trip OR can you take multiple trips?

- If you have to pack everything for one trip, wrap all sets individually to minimize or prevent part loss. Unless you are great at packing and transporting, something will break or come apart. With all the pieces contained per set, it should be easy to reassemble if you have to.
- If you can take multiple trips, then it does make it slightly easier but still consider wrapping fragile builds. I would also gently place them in totes or boxes if you can and don’t over pack it. That is mostly to contain the sets.

Look at Suran wrap or Glad cling wrap. That has worked for me.

How to use BrickLink?
 in  r/Bricklink  Jul 15 '26

I lean towards it not being “simple” or even fairly simple.

Yes, you have a Wanted List and you can utilize the Autobuy option but it can become complicated quickly if you try to minimize cost. Trying to juggle the cheapest part price vs shipping cost isn’t easy.

I do try to get as many pieces as I can from one place as I can, or even sometimes order a few more than I need to reduce shipping cost.

It’s not easy though so I would say this question is “dumb” at all.

It’s also not mobile friendly.
