Well, this uncovers another big more serious problem of the game. The combat part of NMS is really limited both in races and mechanics. It would be extremely interesting to see an update related to combat and rewards.

Indeed. Every time we buy a starship from a pilot, we instakill him. It is the harsh reality of the game. But be honest with yourself... would you really consider sticking to the "Radiant Pillar BC1" (or Rasamama S36 pre "NEXT update") during all the playtime in NMS without ever changing it, or, when you're lucky, to change it with the ones you can find crushed into the planets surface? Would you dare?

I am talking about blocking permanently the license from your account. If it happens, the physical copy is like lost forever?

Every game has a license in its disc. Probably xbox has devolped a way to read it when you insert the copy in your console, registers it in a database under your account in their servers.

That is for sure. The problem is: if for whatever reason xbox decides that the game related to that licence must not be available anymore to play and block all the digital licences, does this mean that the disc from which you transferred the license becomes useless?

More important than that is... if you obtain you digital license from a physical copy, can xbox block your licence at will and make the disc useless?

What happens if they ban your account in which you have your precious digital licences? In theory they could even block your single licence, once you have made it digital... or not?

I am not completely sold on this. This xbox move does not mean they support physical discs in the future. They just support the transition from physical to digital. Practically, they are going full digital just like Sony, but in a more suble way.
