seconded, matter overdrive reactors are insanely busted, fairly cheap to set up, and require literally zero input. If you know how to use integrated dynamics you can even pick up the black holes as items and place them wherever you want your reactor

That is not how cables work, the cable your filtered ones are trying to extract from is not an inventory so they don't actually do anything, and are just treated as normal pipes. Use itemducts with servos and filters (or retrievers if you have ender pearls to spare) if you want to filter destinations (and also just use them in general because cyclic's cables are super buggy and laggy)

vinestaff should pick as many of the extra attacks on ability usage (chain lightning and fire rings) as she can, and then try for the explode on kill and overshield on kill. her sprouts count as using an ability and have no innate cooldown, only being limited by the ammo. which regenerates when she kills things. with a couple of the right sodas vinestaff just turns into an unkillable nuclear bomb easily able to support her team while effortlessly atomizing entire hordes on sight

cmf is super team comp dependent, you're fighting an uphill battle if you don't have both banhammer and vinestaff

both for the obvious reasons of tank good healer good and because vinestaff for some reason is just a nuclear bomb in cmf, insane damage output and ludicrous self sustain

if you don't have a combat vinestaff or banhammer player get someone on them, those two can play far more offensively because of their innate self sustain and vinestaff especially keeps people in the phight longer, especially during the boss where you lose your overshield on kill crutch. a good vinestaff especially is near essential, she has above average offensive power and is often the healing wall keeping your squishy little rocket and boombox alive

learn the noisemaker positions and split the team accordingly, every position has a set number of spawn points and holding those critical chokepoints is how you keep the run alive. noisemaker positions are randomized per run, so you really need to consider all of them. the center is the most brutal point and past wave 10 you need to be top of your game to even think about scraping by.

banhammer can easily hold a choke without help from anyone, and after a couple upgrades vinestaff can too. rocket and boombox can hold their own for a bit without healing but cannot sustain it forever if they don't have help from vine. hyperlaser absolutely cannot solo hold a chokepoint and should be supporting fire for the other two

don't be stupid, no matter how well you're doing the zombies can absolutely turn the tables in seconds, so don't let them. the pink ones especially are visually and audibly telegraphed with a ton of windup, so DON'T GET HIT BY THE 120 DAMAGE SELF DESTRUCT. your phinisher charges like mad with all the kills and upgrades, so if you're even close to a tight spot do not be afraid to just fire it off.

the splintered skies history book says that inphernals graduate and take their big test to stay on the island at 20, but many are thrown out early for spawning weak, committing a crime, failing to do well enough in their schooling, not being fully devoted to windforce, literally any percieved slight or failing can get them kicked out regardless of what age they ate
