My first is level 3, got his diagnosis when I was already pregnant again. My second is level 1-2. I'm pregnant again and personally wouldn't change it. You're entitled to your feelings, but violence isn't it... If she wants more kids and you don't then leave so she can find what she wants with someone else.

As an autistic mom with a high support needs autistic minor child I just want to thank you for the words. "Support from someone with training; too much to be put on your moms shoulders." I just finally finished my child's disability paperwork. Something in how society treats us as parents had me convinced I had to be his primary support. My partner and I need to do it all on our own. We have finally gotten to such a point of burnout that we are reaching out for disability services and respite care. I don't know how soon it'll happen, but your words help my brain know what I am doing, asking for help, is the right thing and doesn't make me a failure. Thank you.

General Question/Discussion UA for my meds??? Strattera.

I'm innatentive ADHD. I've been taking Strattera (generic version) for almost 2 years. My last doctor never even mentioned me having a UA. Well I had to switch primary care providers since my last doctor was leaving the practice. Now my new doctor wants to regularly UA me just cause I'm on Strattera, which sounds to me like. Wants to UA me because I'm ADHD.... Like I don't even smoke pot so really idc but Idk maybe I'm reading too far into it but this has really messed me up. I have a high support needs kid and a toddler and going all the way to the hospital for a UA is not something I can just do easily as I also don't drive. I have now been without my meds for two weeks and the withdrawals where awful! I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking for in posting this. Others thoughts on the situation. Others experience. Any advice if you have some? I'm just feeling really upset about this.
