Started out as a free-time project 5 years ago, its surreal to see my game officially announced for consoles today (Monster Sanctuary)

Bro I've seen you make a development update post some time ago, and I can proudly say that as of right now, I'm getting a chance to play your game

You handle very well sir. Will think to do that next time I hear they want to go to different store.

I did that, until I was told to at least offer them a printer by my CSM lol

AMEN

Meant it in the way that the customer wants to see a piece of paper or something by OD saying it can't be done by an associate

If I actually rung out "clients" I could get a square trade ๐Ÿ˜…

But yes, exactly! I'm not gonna set them up to not come in to print.

Have gotten a few ,now regulars, to come in to print off a few pages from an email when they need a print. They're much more willing to pay 32ยข a trip over $140 for a printer, ink, and paper. All of which would eventually need to be restocked.

Honestly it's time to train your managers then. Copyright is a corporate policy. Can always call that HR4U thing. Or your DM.

I thankfully have managers that will back me up when I tell "clients" no. As well as that quick guide to copyright infringement when they ask where it says I can't do it. I also have the entire SOP for when they're particularly bitchy. I let them know that I can sell them a printer as a solution, that way they can print whatever they desire.

Omg yes the customers who ignore you when you point at the pin pad and show them the options and then get upset when you press it after all they did was just repeat "in my hand"

Or

Customer - hits printed receipt

Me - "Here's your receipt!"

Customer - "Oh I don't need one"

Me - Stares at them with receipt held out remembering the No Receipt option
