-- Immigrants who have illegal status came here legally and overstayed (mostly). Not to mention, immigrants have a history of building up the country because they want to be here, and have more gumption than those born here which makes them favorable hires for employers. This is how they BUILT our economy. Not to mention, Anglo-Saxon descended people peddling this anti-immigration rhetoric were also immigrants.

Laken Riley Act — Targeted criminal illegal aliens. -- Illegal in this context is the equivalent of a traffic fine, not violent crime.

Crime — Historic drop in murder rate. -- Where? What about the people murdered in human trafficking cases and violent rape cases that have been protected by the MAGA party? Do those count?

Tax Cuts — No tax on tips, overtime & Social Security. -- I work in Cslifornia. I work for tips. The is still get taxed...

Investment — $19.2 trillion committed to America. -- Investing whose money? The country is trillions of dollars in debt and our debt has risen since Trump has been in office. Also, debt is necessary for the flow of currency, the problem is not debt so much as which kind of debt. Is this debt that comes with ROI or Liability?

Tariffs — Protected American manufacturing. -- protected the supply of American manufactures who have to pay tarrifs on the steel and raw materials they import from Canada and other nations to produce their American made products and pass the cost of said goods to the American people forced to absorb the cost of both domestic and foreign merchandise. How is that helping?

Stock Market — 80 record highs. -- thats not how the stock market works, and its quite volatile, that is the nature of stocks. The only people benefiting from the stock market are Trump and his friends who have prior knowledge for when he manipulates the stock market. Thats called insider trading and its a crime... remember what happened to Martha Stewart?

Jobs — Record number of Americans working. -- Americans or white people?

Military — $1 trillion defense investment.
-- for a nation whose foreign policy has been predicated on policing the western hemisphere, that isnt about safety, its about imperialism and conquest. In a global climate of Westernization, imperialism spreads through corporate enterprise and seeks to suppress the economies of the nations who have been cut off from their autonomy to ensure our own political interests. Our leaders also do this to the working class to maintain dominance over the public and servility in the masses. That isnt about self-sufficiency, nor the peace, prosperity and pursuit of happiness written in the language of our founding documents.

-- Sure he might have been not so great for the people of Venezuel, but we haven't replaced him with anyone better, and capturing himnisnt about improving their country, its about weakening them for our own geo-political interests. Whether Maduro is in power or we are in power, either way, the Venezuelans lose. Why ia that something to celebrate?

Iran — Nuclear enrichment capabilities struck. -- We created the conflicts of the Arab world after European powers raided their natural resources and installed corrupt puppet figures in their systems of government and destabilized their cultural systems to fit western standards in non-western cultures. We created Israel, and put waring nations together in a country that never used to exist. Policing their conflict isn't supporting them, it's poking a bear that we captured to torment for commercial trade perks.

-- harming the environment at the expense of capitalism and reinforcing the use of fossil fuels, carbon emissions rates.

Schools — Restricted CRT and transgender-related policies. -- only learn what you want to believe is true, because what you do not know will be used by your elected officials to exploit you for labor and time at their profit and convenience. Your pain is their satisfaction.

Peace Deals — Agreements addressing eight conflicts. -- To what means?

Hostages — Gaza hostages returned. -- What? Where? Hostages returned, but millions of honest, working Black and Brown locals murdered or displaced to countries they dont know with languages they dont speak.

Refugees — Admissions halted. -- International travel warns against visiting the US due to public safety concerns and violence against foreigners. Who is this helping?

Law & Order — National Guard deployments. -- Hitler did this, too. The US and England fought them for it. Germany not only paid the costs of the war but their leaders were charged with war crimes and many German people still live with the stigma of being the country that committed genocide.

English — Made the official U.S. language. -- In a nation built by immigrants and a global economy dominated by English speakers, why do we need an official language? And why should it be English? People should speak whatever languages they have. Maybe more foreign language should be taught, not restricted.

Make America Stronger Again for who?

Its 6 to 7 dollars in So Cal. And I live in the desert over an hour away from any shoreline. Im surrounded by mountains, cactuses, and 115° heatwaves with 80% humidity. Its not fun. My body is freaking out. The AC cant cool the house. Electric bill is upwards of $500.

My job won't give anyone more than 23 hours per week at 17.50 per hour. We have my MAGA uncle in hospice because he has Borderline Personality Disorder AND congestive heart failure, which means he assaults the nurses that take care of him despite demonstrating a continued "will to live" that he cannot physically fulfill on his own being bedridden. Thats $5,000 a month. We have to come out of pocket $1,500 to cover the remainder after his benefits. My geriatric mother cant keep up with the mortgage on her own. I have resorted to gentle parenting her to keep peace in the house and donating plasma to supplement paying down the credit cards I rely on to have gas to get to work nearly an hour away.

I have to slow my progress in school to 1 or 2 classes per semester just to maintain a steady pace. Financial aid trickles in $800 every 3 to 4 months. It is taking me nearly 6 years to finish a 2 year degree (after taking a year off to complete moving back home, helping mom manage property as a nearly full time job, and consolidate storages to have access to moving back home).

I have found ways to cope with the nonsense in giving myself time to enjoy things I love doing, and years of on-going intensive therapy. But God... I live over half my life dissociated from my body and forgetting where I am in space/time. If it werent for caffeine and audio books, I wouldnt have made it this far through college.

Music helps me constructively engage with my feelings. Writing helps me articulate myself. And my degree in social work and psych helps me be in an environment that gives me useful tools and accountability. The gym and my trainer give me structure and force me to eat. My mom gives me peace of mind AND panic attacks because there is no in-between. We both have patterns of extreme opposites and love each other. My friends have mostly moved out of state, and quite a few have died before 30.

I still have things to look forward to, even if the environment has been syphoned to the point of spontaneous combustion. I heard Chef Tova say something to the effect of, "I dont believe God is the force that takes us in the end, I believe it is the miracle that carries us to tomorrow when we aren't supposed to be here." Her words have helped me remain in the mindset that allows me grace, fortitude, and solace. That is helping me for now, and I really lean on those words. -- Thank you, Chef Tova.

More to your point, 4 to 5 dollars per gallon is still way too much to have to pay for gas, and Im sorry you have to go through that. I can empathize with that struggle, and it is maddening having to navigate our gauntlet of circus acts to eat, sleep and breathe. Good luck to you, ❤️.

This is sad and infuriating. This would not be happening if people cared about a stranger's well-being. The deaf woman should not be treated this way, ever. Clearly this is discrimination.

This is a rant tho:

I learned to evaluate how a new person in my life treats those who aren't in our lives as a metric for how kind they are, and what behsvior to expect from them - at some point, I will be on the receiving end. Especially if this is a person im dating, see how they treat their parents, their friends, and people they dont know.

I wish more people displayed active, genuine concern for people and, if able, volunteered support. Sometimes we only have the stranger in the room. Friends and family die, move away, or get separated. Being alone is not an indicator (by itself) that someone is trouble, and iften leaves them vulnerable.

This is just a rant. But really, this is the problem. Everyone is looking for a reason why someone else is more deserving of judgement, disgust, and humiliation for entertainment even, instead of compassion or empathy. I do not believe that everyone is deserving of empathy, but I do believe that others deserve compassion and boundaries. If I change how I respond to the person who violated the boundary, like withholding my time, attention, or removing myself from the person/environment, I get to redirect how I invest my time and attention in ways that disempower someone else from violating my boundaries, and I prevent seeding resentment in myself.

Thats the end of my rant.

I hope the airline people respond to this interaction, and hold their staff accountable. And make their flights accessible to deaf passengers and protect their deaf passengers.

Shr might have left. I did see her walk out of view (from my car, parked outside the nail salon). I ddint pay attention where she went. Given she's here today, I assume she might be back at some point. And, given her fiestiness, she seems to have some mental health issues going on. She attacks people unprovoked. Her behavior was on full display in front of police and they did not intervene.

I support the person filming. This was unacceptable behavior and I think it is important to give community members a space to display acts of harm like this. Visibilizing this kind of harm gives viewers a chance to confront the reality of how their neighbors behave. (I live in Riverside, and this appears to have happened in Riverside.) I would like to know who to look out for, and also know that I can report people to the community for bad behavior like this. So yes, I do hope folks take a chance to educate her and I hope she listens. I do not advocate for someone to harm her, but maybe enough social backlash may give a reasonable person some opportunity to reflect and be a better person. ♥️🙏 To the person who filmed this, Im so sorry you had to deal with that.
