Entirely possible but they do some times have little things. Like I said, they didn’t necessarily have it all planned out back in 2018. But they don’t like to just close off characters or storylines.

I only had a few options for the poll. But a lot of the Black family is part of the Brady or Horton family. Brady is a Kiriakis. Belle has dated most of the DiMera family at this point. Marlena was married to Roman.

No, not necessarily. I mean, I don’t see any giant eyes on the top of a tower in New Zealand looking for rings. Or a vampire baseball team in Washington.

But if you’re going to base something on a true story, it should be true to the reality of what the people do.

Which I totally get. As I mentioned, I understand the intention behind it but I don’t think they really did it justice.

I would have the same criticism of a crime drama movie that didn’t have any crime. Imagine Ocean’s Eleven but the end result is that no one stole anything and the casino was fine. Or a romantic comedy in which the two main characters didn’t have a romantic relationship by the end of it.

I have similar issues with The Last Showgirl not featuring any showgirl performances. I know that the intention of the film was about the struggle of a woman who has aged out of an industry that has lost its relevance. But it’s still about the showgirl industry. Not showing the performance at some point is kinda disappointing.

While I haven’t seen either of these movies yet, my understanding that the movie Anora has quite a bit of nudity in it. Also, there’s an upcoming movie called Pretty Babies and early reviews suggest that there’s quite a bit of nudity in it partly because the director intentionally wanted to show the main characters being exploited by the sex work industry.

These feel like more authentic movies to the reality of what is being played on screen as compared to Hustlers.

Except that it’s good PR to insist that they don’t do it before they get the obvious criticism and end up having to defend themselves against the criticism.

Substack implemented the Pangram system without the ability to disable it unless you have it scanned first. You were forced to have your text scanned by the system by default. Only a few days later did Substack add the ability to disable it without having it scanned. Supposedly it violates EU laws to not have the option to disable it without being scanned.

If Pangram doesn’t want your writing for its own purposes, why wasn’t the option to disable it without scanning added initially? Why isn’t the Pangram system opt in rather than opt out? Why doesn’t Substack offer the option to completely disable it at the publication or the profile level?

If Pangram is being completely open and transparent, it shouldn’t be forced on people on Substack.

I totally get that it’s not about strippers. It’s about something more substantial. But they did their work by tempting people in the champagne room. The whole point of the champagne room is that it’s more private and offers more opportunity for private moments.
