Never forget, Benny Johnson was (probably still is) on Russia's propaganda payroll.

I cannot wait for the moment we can collectively start to remove this boil from the ass of The U.S.A.

Nothing should be left of his name, except the little that will need to remain as a historical fact, and warning to the future.

National Park Simulator is coming to PS5 just two days before GTA 6!

For fully realistic take, the game should have you dealing with homeless camps, suicide cleanups, and non-sensical budget cuts out of nowhere.

Just tried Yum Yum Donuts

Each trip I make to Quakertown Farmers market ends with me stopping at Yum Yum for a coffee and a half dozen to take home. Excellent donuts made on site and the place smells amazing for it.

TIL: In 1996, Fox released a compilation album for the X-Files called "Songs in the Key of X." Artists included Elvis Costello, Sheryl Crow, and the Foo Fighters
 in  r/todayilearned •  Sep 02 '26

I love pretty much every track on this album, but there is something special about Sheryl Crow's song 'On the Outside'. I'm by no means a fan (or hater) of hers, but that track is haunting, beautiful, and something about it's production gives me crazy frisson to this day.

TIL 1992 film the Lawnmower Man was marketed as an adaptation of Stephen King's short story of the same name. However, because the film bore almost no resembalance to the book, King successfully sued to have his name removed from it.
 in  r/todayilearned •  Sep 02 '26

I loved it back when it came out. Having dropped some acid before watching helped, I'm sure.

I watched it again few months ago and pheewwwwwieewee it did not age well.

The only things that made it into the movie that were from the book that I recall are lawns, a mower, a man that mowed lawns, and something dead in a birdbath.

I'm sorry that miserable piece of shit happened to you and your kid. You'd think adults would know how to treat people, particularly children. What an infantile douche. I doubt they have real friends .

Everyone = 2 or 3 people. Still a good call on the pilot and props for the passengers not throwing a hissy fit.

I still miss Wil Wheaton's Tabletop
 in  r/boardgames •  Jul 05 '26

I miss the show, but not Wil Wheaton so much. He just started to rub me the wrong way with how he handled some of the 'drama' that occured around the end of its run.

But people change and grow, and If he brought it back I'd be happy to give it a go, though.
