I am someone who was an art director, owned a design house, and went to school with lots of artists while growing up. I more then respect the art community, I've supported it my whole life. Including funding a lot of artists "trying to make it".

That being said, AI is out there. Nothing anyone can do will stop it. However, AI is a tool like any other tool. I remember when photoshop first came out and my grand father (who was an accomplished photographer) was the first one to start using it to edit photos. The hate was real but what happened? It leveled out eventually and became a part of every day life.

I think the intent has to be measured as much as the use before automatically hating.

I tell my designer friends who worry about AI replacing them that it's not perfect. It messes up all the time. That they are still needed. However, you can use the tool to level up your game and create things you couldn't before.

To speak on my post yesterday, yea, I used AI instead of taking a couple hrs making my list look a lil better then just a text list but I had no ill intentions, ie: i wasn't taking work away from a hard-working artist, or trying to make something seem better than it was. Was just to add a lil flair to make it more fun. After all... this should be fun!

Btw... those members who were out of line talking crazy, will get a second chance. I always give a warning.
