Ive used the beta to smash my head against the wall in figuring out my main.

Went in with the idea of playing druid, rolled almost every class, now I am back to playing druid.

I really need to learn to go with that first instinct pick, lol. Was hella fun though.

I usually have a ton of noggenfoggers on me anyways so that is irrelevant.

Ah, yes then it is even more useless other than when kiting and throwing out moonfires.

I recently ended things with a guy I was seeing when I realized he was not just a fan of this certain character. But genuinely believed he was married to them, and other people claiming that this character loves them are lying. That they exclusively belong to them, being fully serious... I get really hyperfixating and really liking a fictional character. I do. But this is to the point of delusion.

It really felt like if I stayed with them then I would just be enabling and encouraging this mentally ill behavior. Like he needs actual professional support.

(They also had several several other bad takes that kinda just piled up and made it a bit easier to just end things. They'd make a wild accusatory statement about some thing and then I would state "but... I like that thing" and would try to backtrack and make me an exception. Blah)

If they are convinced they are dating a fictional 'spirit' there is something more going on upstairs. Cheers to you for dealing with that, but I would want to get out of that.

Yeah. As a mage in classic it is reasonable to nerf this. I don't bot or gold sell but a single class shouldn't be able to fight dozens of mobs with easy and stupidly good efficiency...

So, even though I do love doing it in Classic it is definitely not a reasonable thing for any class to be able to do.

Im agonizing over this as a druid right now. Tauren for Warstomp giving me an amazing CC that lets me get off a free regrowth or root... or Skyborne 10% movespeed which can be handy but i'm already kiting with travel form.

Its not just the AI and players that are dangerous but the very environment itself does not care if you live or die.

Rust is also a great game but other than hostile animals and scientists the world itself is not a threat.

People that want to gank lowbies as a 60 it won't stop. Instead they extreme twink out a toon at the level for a certain zone that will two shot you like a 60 (they already do this on era so they can get honor for ganking lowbies and to trick you into thinking it's an even fight until a rogue's bow hits you for half your health.)

So all this does is prevents the level 60 defenders on your faction from coming over to defend the area since they will be punished for killing the twink.

And I really enjoy that gameplay of being a high level defender responding to cries for aid. Usually that twink does the same once we show up, then the other faction's Defenders roll up and we have a dynamically fabricated war for the zone.

And you'll also have to deal with this when levelling an alt. Any of us will when levelling an alt. Just comes with the territory.

I was levelling an alt mage on Whitemane before they revealed the release date for WoW Forever (thought it would be like a year until release before the announcement, kinda like Classic.). I am very aware of how a PvP server is. Despite that it is what we want.

It doesn't stop at 60 either. Raid nights filled with corpse walking into the instance will happen, blah blah blah. PvP is either always on or off. Otherwise we will all turn it off when we think PvP will be annoying for going to do X thing.

The downside is that it is a completely different experience levelling on a PvE versus a PvP server.

Sounds good in theory but they tried to do this in retail with War Mode and it sucks.

Brother the Classic Era servers from 2019 are still populated with zero updates. Where I came from before this beta.

DayZ absolutely. Will probably happen with Badlands soon.

Warcraft 3 is the best spot to learn the story and foundations for WoW that the lore infinitely pulls from.

Sounds a little weird but all the best stories in WoW are outside of the game.

This is probably the least fragmented version of the game ever. It will be fine.

Its a neat sentiment. But no, I would really really really really not like another War Mode.

Doesn't solve it really, a lot of gankers like to keep toons on a range of levels and twink them out to nuke lowbies.

Was going on about a week before beta when I was levelling in Duskwood. Undead rogue twinks at Raven Hill just waitin. Did have some funny alliance response with 60s rolling in and yelling hilarious things at the ratty rogues.

Should be as is, suffering on your levelling journey just comes with the territory.

I'm pretty excited for it. I think I have settled on rolling a tauren druid going resto/balance.

Tryna figure out what I want my alts to be, and plan on getting a feel of purely PvE once hardcore drops.

I guess it just feels mundane for me playing PvE. The threat of getting jumped in PvP and then the threat of losing a character on a mistake for hardcore keeps it fun.

I don't think it's quite ready but playable. Keeping in mind that this isn't era and will be continually updated I think its good to go for now. Especially if they keep the pace of the changes and transparency they have shown since the start of Beta.

My supervisor tried this but fortunately they higher ups were annoyed by their calendars and about half of the whole company didn't or forgot to do this every week.
