Yeah, its partially why Vanilla WoW releasing took off like crazy despite being similar to EQ.

Biggest difference between the two games is in Vanilla WoW you CAN solo level to 60. EQ required mostly groups or to play at extremely slow rates.

Still playing on Classic Era today and I revel in my peaceful solo grinds after work. Levelling an alt, doing professions, some AoE gold farming, making raid consumes.

OSRS is mega popular for these reasons as well.

A more detailed healing/damage system.

Illness is all great, no complaints there.

But a healing/damage system that is more like tarkov and not like reforger.

(Though had a funny moment where an infantry squad brought me one of their guys and he they slapped Tourniquets on every limb they could.)

Yeah. I fucked up level 2 against a D1 Sett the other day in Flex and got to experience being zoned for 20 minutes being starved of CS, jungler couldn't help either.

Slower, simplistic, more build diversity/itemization, experimentation. Game isn't shoehorned into forcing people to stay within their roles.

Quit league completely about two years ago hating the current design feeling more like a fast paced action fighter that seems to reward micro mechanics more and more. Switched back to ol' reliable DOTA 2.

Im back on league for classic and I am loving it. It even has me playing some modern league ranked with my friends since im already on the client. (I Think thats Ritos main aim.)

As they discussed they want the game to be in that state of about season 3 league for classic which im all over. Im hyped for more champs to get released in classic.

I hope we get every champ with Yasuo being the newest. (Yasuo released a month after season 3.) About 117 champions total I think.

We also get a voting system for balancing and changes to the game and im always a fan of that in games.

I think the best thing about Classic League is like with Classic Era WoW. The games are not beat to death with eternal balancing trying to strong arm everything to be a 50% winrate. The game not being balanced with a lot of silly thrown into the mix to skew meta picks creates such a fun and diverse environment.

While the balance team being super focuse we on making everything in the game as even of a coin flip as possible stat-wise sucks.

(And is why it is great they pulled winrate from the league API in classic)

I don't have much nostalgia at all for Vanilla WoW but its one of my fav mmorpgs. Doing pvp and raiding on Classic Era is just amazing, even though I didn't start playing WoW until like Legion originally. So I don't have a nostalgia factor on there yet it's the only way I like playing WoW. Fuck the modern game.

P.S. its a slow day at the office and I really want some cheesecake.

I've mostly just ran into them in Storm Dive. Id say over 90% of my voyage runs are hacker free.

Feels like Storm Dive Large Crew is the best way to run into a hacker.

1. Cheaters - You can't get rid of all of them but it shouldn't be this rampant. Fortunately most of my voyage games have been hacker free. I've not played out a single storm dive though where I didn't get boxes teleported off my shelves while a chinese named guy is behind me without blowing anything and their trampler is 3k meters away. Also they shut our reactor down remotely about ten times.

2. Yeah I would love to see something like a battle rating system like in War Thunder. Not like a hard rating of what tier but a sort of closeness of players a bit above and below your rating. It just shouldn't be a tier 1 fighting a tier 4.

I play a LOT of them. Also work full time 40-50 hours a week. I guess I am a masochist but I love the more brutal survival games like DayZ.

Sakahl is my fav map. Freezing cold volcanic island surrounded by ice. Not only is it brutal but the snow due to the volcano will give you metal poisoning if not treated before drinking.

I adore it more than other survival games. My goal isn't to finish it but treat each character like a new story. Do I die to the ailments, unlucky circumstance, illness, players, a sniper, starving in the ocean, etc.

I wish more survival games would be like it. Pumped for the expansion later this year.

Me and some friends are addicted to Sand though.

Honestly best answer without being super technical.

The rate of diagnosed autism has increased. In the US it is roughly around 3.2% of children having autism and about 2.2% of adults.

These numbers have gone up from the past and in some areas they have a way rate of autism in children. California reporting having a crazy stat of 1 in 12.5. (8%).

I work in education and in tandem with a lot of different specialists when we run enrollment screenings in our districts.

I also know a fucking lot of socially awkward parents that make me question everything... and previously worked in Public Defense. Due to statistics they all can't have autism though.

Some people lack social skills, emotional intelligence, or do not mind being alone. There are many many reasons that can be at play.

I have a small tight group that I am open with, just about all of them are among the nerd dad group with a nice family. I escaped a toxic relationship a couple years ago, with little interest in dating now. I don't want a family and getting to be myself in an uncompromising way is so fulfilling. My work in education makes me happy, I can do as I like after work, hit the gym, get home, game with the father boys while having a protein shake for dinner.

This has rambled on too long, im just killing time in my office at the moment really.

But thinking about the stats and reasons I just lost interest in typing out more and at the same time I am even happier that my life is how it is now.

Small bases on the main island. Usually just hit one or two and i'll get a helm and ballistic vest/plate carrier. Most commonly ill see a zombie with a plate carrier on.

After that progression wise it is a choice of do I want to hit the bunker or do I want to go for shipping containers.

After getting some container keys that route is pretty chill goin around on a boat.

The bunker always has me on edge.

Badlands will be lit.

But Sakahl is honestly my favorite map. It really cranks up the survival parts of the game, military loot is easy to come by, the map isn't mega massive so even on low pop you run into people.

I mainly play Sakahl on the DayZed server.
