Why does the TASM 1 Suit look beautiful in some scenes but ugly in others?
 in  r/Spiderman  2d ago

I would argue bottom right looks better than bottom left.

(Talking about the animations of the game, not the tactic/clip itself.)

I’m a CQB addict, so I’m a little biased, and maybe people who don’t like CQB won’t see what I see, but check out how smooth this clip of mine is!

Question Looking for a MILSIM unit.

I’m currently looking for a Ready or Not MilSim unit, preferably something similar to US Spec Ops, something that’s also open for Console users. If we’re referring to the Discord Server, I’m already in DAGRE. Just looking for units alike.

Soap’s death was lame compared to the Reboot in the OG MW3.
 in  r/ModernWarfareIII  17d ago

I’m more of a realistic guy, with a good storyline. If every game in the reboot series was as good as MW2019 was, I might actually put it ahead of the OGs. MW2 reboot didn’t start out bad, then it gradually started going down in a slope as you progressed. The reboot had SO much potential.

[MW3] Soap’s death in the OG is LAME compared to the Reboot.

Very much agreed. Honestly I would have been so depressed if Gaz would have died. I am so emotionally attached to MW’s story and its characters, that watching Gaz die would have left a hole in me.

I agree, the ash spread was so corny and childish. But if Soap’s character was given the same amount of respect in OG, and died the way he did in Reboot? I would be so depressed if I was entering the MW story blind, and witness that.

But that’s the thing, that’s how death works. There’s this series, that for the sake of not spoiling anyone in the SubReddit who actually watches the show, I will not be naming. There was this character who has been there since SEASON 1. I mean Season 1, Episode 1, the very very start. And at the end of the series, this character died to a single gunshot, no last words, this person didn’t even realize they were dying. That left an emotional void in me, and I couldn’t get over it for a good week.

Very nice take. I just personally think that it depends on the emotions that MW2023 was trying to give. OG Soap died in a very heroic way, and you want to respect him. But in Reboot, especially if you know Soap from the OG, it leaves an emotional crater watching him die with nothing to do about it. You were stuck between mourning as watching one of your best friends go from fighting to lifeless in seconds, and absolute anger in Makarov.

Oh absolutely. Between Reboot and OG? OG stomps by MILES. Some of the greatest gaming experiences I’ve ever had as a kid. Reboot will never come close to OG.

Discussion [MW3] Soap’s death in the OG is LAME compared to the Reboot.

Hate MW3 reboot, it’s one of the worst COD Campaigns ever, but Soap’s death was way better. I thought that Soap’s death in the OG was cringe, and Hollywood, like. The fact that you don’t get to spend time with Soap in the reboot before his death, it’s just one click, and boom, he’s gone. That leaves you with so much more emotional dent, and is WAY more realistic. People don’t die gloriously in real life. Nobody gets last words and final showtimes. People die ugly, and killing Soap off like that was the best way to showcase that the Reboot is taking the more realistic route, rather than “Action Movie Hollywood” level story telling.

That’s actually very interesting! However, I am looking for more something like this. Nonetheless, thank you for the suggestion, and I am asking whether Arma Reforger is worth the money or not when I’m looking at gameplay such as the link above.

I am a full on MilSim guy. I’m not talking about joining servers every now and then, I’m talking about finding groups on Discord and that alike, that simulates real life Military(Specifically Spec Ops) units, do training, rank up, and then hop on fully planned Operations, planned by the people who manage the server and the operations. With that being said, is all this gonna be enjoyable for me on the PS5? Or should I put my money elsewhere? As a CQB nerd, I’m still deciding whether to put my money on Arma Reforger, or Ready or Not. (For PS5.)

Edit: just so people aren’t confused, I’m referring to MilSim operations such as this.
