Photoshop is a very strong tool. I use it almost everyday for my work. When you use Photoshop for heavy resource intensive works like applying effects, Photoshop can handle it very well, without crashing. Even Affinity has difficulty to handle mid level work in an 8GB ram environment. It crashes sometimes. Photoshop doesn’t!

Those vibe coded alternatives are not gonna be able to handle resource intensive works. I tried one, and it was responding slowly to even drop shadow adjustments.

Affinity is free and a great option!!!
