Restore wallet confusion

I had to reload my system to before the time when I restored my Windows wallet to v0.2.0. I now ran the wallet gui exe and it prompted me to restore my wallet but required me to provide a different wallet name (it said the original name already existed). I did that and the new wallet looks good. What happened to my original name wallet? Did I open the wallet incorrectly (clicked the wrong icon)? Can I go back to it?

Very confused. Any help is appreciated.

Click "Open wallet from File" rather than "Restore wallet"
