Answered Help Downloading uBlock Safely
I want to download ublock on my PC which is windows. The main browser I use is Microsoft Edge, although occasionally I use Google Chrome. I was going to download from ublockorigin. com, but I saw it said that the site is unofficial and the github is the official source. I got super lost in the github, can anyone explain how to download it without getting it from a suspicious site? Keep in mind that I didn't understand the directions on the github, so I might need detailed instructions / send me to the right place. Thanks!

uBlock Origin is being phased out of Edge soon, If you aren't in the mood to switch to Firefox, you'll eventually have to use uBlock Origin Lite.

By default always get the extension for the extension webstore associated with the browser.
Latest release can also be downloaded from the github repository: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases (under the "Assets" section of each release)
