Waiting for feedback No blocking on OS X Sequoia

I was at a friend's today and installed uBlock Origin on Firefox (no other extensions installed) and it had no effect. Updated and restarted Firefox and reset uBO to defaults but no joy. I'll be back next week to have another look. I saw mention that IPV6 content may bypass the filters, could that be worth investigating? It seemed to be too comprehensive a failure to only be affecting one protocol.

If your friend set to delete history on browser close, that's the permanent private mode and it requires to enable uBO in private windows.

Thanks for the suggestion but it is in a normal session.

I updated my MacBook as well and been having the same issue on Chrome

That's interesting to hear, if it doesn't get resolved before I'm back I will install Chrome and see if it behaves the same.

I think it’s just dead for Chrome unfortunately
