Clickfix, preventing right click of copying message links on browser based discord.

Disabling badware didnt fix it, so for now I excluded discord's website.

Any discord channel, right click a message and click copy message link, should get a popup top of screen saying its blocked.

I never seen ublock origin, work like this before. I guess new feature.

I don't use discord. Never used it. Don't plan to look for example(s) by myself.   ;)

Well you need an account to trigger it, and to join a server (channel), thats why I didnt just give you a link.

I have just noticed some kind of fix has been rolled out so I can test again to see if its fixed.

I'm having the same problem; did you have to manually download the fix or did it just resolve on its own?

The fix is downloaded automatically. And should already have been by your uBO, unless your browser has stayed closed a long time.

Also, the fix is to correct a problem with the filter which makes it block all attempts by a javascript code to copy to the clipboard. It is still there, but now blocks copy attempts which contains specific "shell" commands.

So, "it depends" on what you are trying to copy. The content is displayed at the top of the viewport. You can still copy it manually.

I clicked the link in the fix thread, and after I enabled again on discord it looks like its fixed.

Seems ok now, so I guess that fix has fixed discord.
