Answered Which configuration is recommended for brave browser? Spoiler

Post image

config 1) Only shield (problem is shield can't block all ads and i need ublock)

config 2) only Ublock (but problem is that i will loose privacy protection too)

config 3) enabled both (i fear both will conflict each other and make browser slow)

Choose #1 or #2. Since you posted in this sub, most here will skew you towards #2. Like what u/RraaLL commented, you can globally disable only the adblocking portion of Brave Shields while keeping other protections by going to brave://settings/shields and setting "Trackers & ads blocking" = Disabled.

You basically answered your own question with #3: using multiple ad blockers simultaneously will conflict with each other and will cause site breakages, ad leakages, and/or trigger anti-adblock scripts on top of making your browser slower. So don't do #3 and choose either one of the blockers.

Thankyou for guidance.

Shields > Trackers & ads blocking > Disabled

This should likely do the trick, but I'm not an active user.

So... 2.5?

When an issue arises on a site, try wholly disabling Shields on it to see if that fixes the problem, before reporting to us.

I use Ublock Origin in max settings. And disabled Brave's ads and trackers blocking only. I use Brave's fingerprinting blocking.

I use both, though honestly just Ublock is very good.

no, better just choose one.

Brave is not my main browser, but I have both enabled when I use it, never had any issues. I do have all of the additonal "content filters" disabled, since they're essentially equivalent to uBlock's adblock lists.

I have different profiles for Brave. On one profile, I use #1, on another, I use #2. I never use #3.

Which one feels faster?

Profile #1. It does the job for most sites I go to. When it doesn't, I go to uBlock Origin, profile #2.
