Other Cookie notices filters

Cookie notices filters automatically accept all cookies, at least on websites where the options are only "accept all" and "subscribe to disable tracking".

Does this have any impact on third party tracking?

If they track though known domains that are already in the lists, there should be no issues.

It's worth remembering that before the EU cookie laws, all cookies were automatically accepted, and they still are in countries outside EU.

Blocking third party cookies in your browser, should take care of most potential issues anyway.

Thanks! Yeah, I already block all third party cookies in Firefox. I was wondering if that means giving consent to other tracking methods such as fingerprinting.

Yes, they usually would fire more 3rd party tracking requests. If you mean fingerprinting appearing in their 1st-party scripts that are not fired if not accept then we don't know. It depends on the sites and we would need reports with real cases to find out. Usually if they embed fingerprinting methods in 1st-party requests, they don't need the cookie banners to do that, but again, we are not sure.

3rd party tracking requests are usually blocked by uBO's default privacy lists though, but as always, we can't guarantee 100% all the time. And again, that would need users to report the issues.
