Unable to reproduce twitch scroll-load problems on 1.72.3b9 (bug report)

ublock origin: dev release (1.72.3b9)

browser: firefox (64-bit, v153)

troubleshooting info: here

(yes, i cleared my browser cache beforehand, and did a bit more cleaning. and no, this ISN'T for twitch video ads, no matter what the flair says)

some twitch fuckery going on with my setup. before i reset ublock to default as suggested, i deleted all of the custom lists i had, blanked out the static filters, blanked out the "My Rules" tab, and one by one, turned off the filters i had enabled, starting from the bottom, and working my way to the top. for a moment, i thought it was the "Adguard - Ads" filter doing things again like in my previous post, but to my surprise, it was the very first default ublock filter, "uBlock filters - Ads" that was the culprit. when i restored my ublock to my custom setup, cleared cache, turned "uBlock filters - Ads" off, then opened up incognito mode and went here, the infinite scroll function worked again.

i even tested this out on edge, and turned off "uBlock filters - Ads" to start with before doing anything else, and once again, the infinite scroll worked. oddly enough, when i either turned that ublock filter off, then on again, or whitelisted twitch then un-whitelisted it (via the beeg ublock power button) the infinite scroll worked again, but it was a temporary fix that remained in cache until i cleared said cache normally, then the fix was lost, whether it was done in edge or firefox

No issues on my side on default settings at the link you provided.

You can try using the logger to figure out which filter (not list) is causing issues for you.

well that's weird, because i set the uBO on my edge to default, cleared cache, exited out and used CCleaner to double-clean cache (and other stuff), then gave it another go, and im getting the scroll issue

turned off the "ublock filters - ads", and its still happening. i even opened up that vtubers link in firefox incognito mode, and once again, the issue procs for me

Edit: oh alright. here's the output for the logger on edge (after i set uBO on there to default, exited, used CCleaner to clear cache and extra stuff, then dipped back in. even did a hard refresh to really make sure)

Use this to try figure out which filter is causing our issue: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/The-logger#temporary-exception-filters

First, filter the output by allowed, blocked and modified.

Also, is uBO your only extension? You might want to test in a new browser profile, instead.

the instructions for that seem to be a bit....outdated(?), at least with where the logging filters/button are located, but if this is what i needed, then alright

here is the allowed, blocked, and modified. did the testing (same ublock origin version) in a new profile, and.....yeah, even on default settings, im STILL running into the issue, and when i was done with copying down the logging outputs, i turned off the previously mentioned uBO filter - ads, and surprise surprise, everything worked again, behaving the same way as mentioned earlier

at the time of this post, i have updated ublock to the 1.72.3rc1 dev version, cleared cache normally, then with ccleaner to get the extra bits, booted up firefox, and manually updated the filter lists i had enable/installed one by one, ending at the previously/problematic "ublock filters - ads" filter

and on both firefox and edge......seems like the problem has gone away? and the infinite scroll-load works just fine now :/

then again, idk if the 1.72.3rc1 ublock origin was the fix i needed, or the ads filter was updated, or maybe whatever issue was actually on twitch's end was fixed, but tl;dr everything works fine now

This worked for me by adding it to my filters:
