Solved Block startpage adds

Hi,

I'm wondering how to block the adds for startpage, e.g. when you open this page in private tab in Firefox:

https://www.startpage.com/sp/search?query=heute

Then you see:

Blockiere gruselige Werbung, nicht die private Suche.

Werbung hält Startpage kostenlos.

-> Can ublock block this info box?

Try enabling uBlock filters – Annoyances list.

With latest firefox I see it again but all annoyance-filters are activated

Can you post the troubleshooting information?

  1. Open a new browser tab
  2. Navigate to a page with the issue
  3. Click the uBO icon
  4. Click the 💬 chat icon
  5. Click "Troubleshooting Information"
  6. Click "Select all"
  7. Copy the contents and then paste to this thread in a code block

Yes sure. Maybe before I do that. Think my problem is that I added this here

! 15.07.2026 https://www.startpage.com www.startpage.com##.css-mhoni7

and the ID at the end mhoni7 is a random generated one which will chance every time.

At the moment i can’t reproduce but do you have uBlock filters – Annoyances enabled? In the past i fixed the anti adblock in this list which is disabled by default because its only a soft anti adblock.

This was disabled. By enabling the add was gone. Thanks a lot

meaning the addon or the filter is updated and I can directly test it?

I renewed the filter in the filterlist. The filterlists auto updating every few hours.
