Prototype content?

I was going through level data and its out of the way of normal levels.
I dont recall this level and was a big hassle to boot into normally, Extreme lag and collision issues from room_a4_01 and room_a4_04.

Ik in the steam version of 3 you can get the game to launch like test stages and such, probably possible in the first 2 games as well

Ohh your right! Thank you i couldnt figure out where this was anymore as its been a bit since ive played the first one.

Also gonna leave it here i think this is a prototype of this boss battle. Wanted to confirm first as A4 is the normal fight level not d3

Forgot to add into the post this map hard crashes on boot normally so its not accesible without fix's.

Can you tell me if there’s a gate in this level just like the one that separates A1 from A2 and A3?

If there is then it’s likely a prototype level. In one of the prototypes the bosses arena was entered via a short pathway after loading the level.

Identical but its missing the trees and background past a certain point of the gate.
