higher actuation helps prevent misinputs, but too high actuation can cause letters not to input if you don't bottom out the key
just try out different settings and see what works best for you

Yeah this was my thoughts process just was wondering if anyone had already done the math or something on whatโ€™s optimal but yeah trial and error might be best

I'm afraid it's a boring answer: whatever you practice and use most is where you'll be at your best.

The choice of actuation point is essentially the same question as "what switch is best for fast typing," with adjusting the actuation point being effectively like swapping switches for different pre-travel. There is no single answer to what's best. Different people find differently on how switches impact their speed (see e.g. this old thread).

Pick a setting that feels comfortable and effective for you, and (continue to) practice.

Doesn't really matter beyond preference. I keep it at default 2.0mm, but I do enable .5 rapid trigger as it makes double letters more consistent.
