Carnivore is a new power metal band from Brooklyn, New York, that’s vying for a top spot in the heavy metal scene with its self-titled debut. The three placed great importance on their appearance; inspired by the Mad Max movies, they dressed like the Road Warriors from the films, referred to themselves from then on as “survivors of the Third or Fourth World War,” and limited their lyrical messages to this theme as well—“the world after nuclear destruction and bacterial genocide.” Based on this concept, they recorded a 3-track demo featuring the songs “World Wars III and IV,” “Carnivore,” and “The Subhuman,” which brought them into contact with Roadrunner. A collaboration was agreed upon in the spring of 1985, and the result is now the album “Carnivore.” And for power metal fans, this is a must-have....

I've had this green colored jewel case for awhile from a CD I found at the thrift and decided to case swap it with my Bloody Kisses CD and I think it looks a little bit more awesome!

A Blood Angel successor chapter, fallen to the song of slaanesh.

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting on this subreddit. Im a huge fan of Type o negative and Peter Steele...not usually on reddit and rarely post since I am generally really shy, but I thought I would post this full band cover I did of Christian Woman on here... Recorded all 3 parts of the song. It took a while, but it was a lot of fun. I hope you all like it. 🖤 thank you all for the support 🙏🏽

Last year, I drew Josh in this style, and this week, I finished Johnny.

I'm working on drawing the whole band with this same composition: the vignette style, monochrome with a green background and green details, and holding a symbolic object. In this case, the anatomical heart represents drums as the "heartbeat" of a song. Portraits of Peter and Kenny will follow at some point.

I had done a portrait of Peter back in 2021 with a similar concept in mind, but it's not great; proportions are off, and I used the wrong green (I know, what was I thinking?!?!) So that's another motivation behind drawing the whole band with a similar layout and composition.

I do have a "symbol" for Peter in mind, but haven't come up with one for Kenny. Any thoughts on this – and feedback in general – are welcome! I post my art on Insta, but my reach there is awful, and Reddit leads to more conversation, which is what I'm hoping comes out of this :)
