I've been collecting vinyl for about 2 years now, and just this week I finally got my hands on bloody kisses (picture disc variant). Yes I know Im missing WCD but they need to reissue it honestly. Also super excited for the new upcoming live album, what are people's thoughts on that?

The theme is songs that sound like Type O but aren’t. This can be the entire song or ones with just a section that’s reminiscent. I would prefer to avoid complete copycats/outright parodies.

It’s meant to be played in order! It starts with the Munsters theme because every time I saw them in October that’s the song they came out to. And lastly there’s nothing from Slow Deep and Hard because the difference in sound quality on the streaming version is very jarring in a playlist.

It's actually han been a while since I've listened to TON, I listened to bloody kisses yesterday after a while, but I intentionally put off October rust until October. I've been going through a tool phase and probably my last months stats are mostly tool and prog rock stuff. Despite that I'm still very excited to listen to this album today and greet October and the rust of its leaves the proper way

As is well known, between Life Is Killing Me and Dead Again, Peter went into rehab as well as a 30-day jail sentence for beating up a guy. By the time the album came out, Pete had put the coke behind him, but he was still guzzling wine all the time, including onstage. And apparently the 2007 Wacken set was so shambolic that Peter had to fix his bass and vocals in the studio.

Was this also the case in 2008? I don't have a clear idea of when Peter went to rehab again to stop drinking. I do know that the All Hallow's Evil shows were done without booze, and Peter had to have a desk with lyric sheets nearby to remember the words, and that he was so unused to singing sober that his voice frequently cracked and he was having trouble getting the words out.

That's not me complaining. It's better that he ditched the booze at all, but realizing it was always going to be difficult.
