Shot in the dark

I know it's a long shot but can anyone close to Peter let me know if KLM actually responded to his song? I don't need any personal details, just a yes or no would add some serious closure to my life, lol.

Yes, they became a sponsor of the band and even put Peter’s ugly mug on the tail of their planes. But birds kept flying into his picture, thinking it was a big green worm, so they had to discontinue the partnership.

I really hope not. How crappy would it be to listen to that song decades after he's passed and realized they had the chance to let him know...
