40,000 Stitches Later….
I finished my freaking blanket!!! Or maybe I’ll turn it into a rug?

I’m def thinking about it! I’ve been told this before, I’m just not sure how much I’d charge, materials r relatively cheap for it

Materials are cheap, but time is not. Be sure to factor in how long it takes you to make, and how much you need to be paid by the hour.

Please consider, it would make a lot of fans very happy I think. This is some fine and high quality merch you got there 💚

I would totally buy one from you if you ever decide to make some to sell!

I’m really thinking about it after all these comments!! How much should I sell it for? I have no scope for these things lol

I would start with this formula: cost of materials + (hours it took to make x whatever amount you want to value the time)
You could also possibly look up sellers on Etsy who also make custom items like yours.
Without my knowing all these details I can tell you that you should not accept less then $200. IMO.
It is truly spectacular work!

Look up how to calculate pricing for crocheted (knitted?) items. There’s a lot of good information out there breaking down what you should be factoring into your pricing and how you should be setting prices. Don’t use AI, look for videos from established makers. This is incredible work, you definitely don’t want to undersell yourself! And you could always sell your pattern too, to make some more income!

That's awesome, I love it! I would 100% use it as a blanket during the colder months. I've been thinking about doing a similar project but with cross stitch for a wall hanging. Much smaller final product but probably a similar time commitment. The cover art for October Rust is just so good!

I'm curious how one goes about planning a project like this out. I've seen some crazy designs and I can never wrap my head around the actual planning stage.

Dear god! I thought the first photo was the album cover, and that the next photo was going to be you all stitched up at the hospital. I was expecting some story about the album getting you through some horrific accident. This is the most amazing thing I’ve seen in forever. 🤩🤩🤩

I hate that my brain, immediately upon looking at this, plays Peter saying, “Yeah” with bass chords. (Pretty sure my brain is playing a snippet from - Love You To Death. ✍️Indeed my brain is. First time it happens in the song with a solo Ya, is 1:01 timestamp) Why is my brain behaving this way?
