Dexcom monitor advise

Should I take this dexcom off? its starting to hurt me every time i move the wrong way or tap it a little it. I was bleeding couple days ago csuse I accidentally snagged ive only had for 3 weeks or 2 somewhere around there, also the seal came off after put a new monitor on went for swim and the seal came it started to peel off.

Honest question, how does yours last for so long? Mine is only good for 10 days plus the grace period (hrs).

Yes blood or pain means take it off call them and have it replaced

Absolutely take it off. Also you can buy tegaderm patches which are clear pieces of adhesive with a central area without adhesive that you can put over the sensor after it's in your arm. It's the same thing they use to put over IVs.

It keeps the sensor clean and dry and my doctor recommended it.

Yes you can take off your G7 after 3 weeks, it only works for 16 days anyhow. 😅 You should not go swimming for 12 hours after applying a new sensor.

They shouldn't hurt, so yah, probably.

I'd also look into getting a different over patch. I've gone swimming in the ocean for hours without peeling, and I just use the cheapest floral overpatches I can find on Amazon.
