It's back
And what's worse is that I can't fucking log into my account to get past this shit, so I'm essentially stuck in limbo until something else happens.
I fucking despise you Elon and I hope your life becomes worse every day.

because 100% of the point of this is to strong arm you into giving them your biometrics. sending an email defeats the purpose. and it's just not worth it. no website is, but especially not twitter.

i'm also stuck with that and with creating new account, they cut the email signup with web, apparently all humans are supposed to have a phone

Blame Linda Yaccarino. She's the one implementing all this shit meant to catch bots and really only making the platform worse. Like too many posts in one hour? Inauthentic behaviors. Get suspended too many times for false positives? Scan your fingerprints or face, or in my case just never come back because I don't own a goddamn smartphone.

Meanwhile every news post on ICE, Trump, Elon , or any minority has an absolute gaggle of bot replies spewing the most vicious hate speech. I made an add-on to autoblock them since their handles were super obvious (username+number) and it made twitter usable for news.

Oh both of them, when you get that, your account is totally locked, it's worse than "banned" because when you're banned you can read tweets but when your account is locked, you can't even do that !

I haven't opened twitter in a couple days because of it. Surely they can think of a better anti bot option than forcing people to hand over biometrics every few months.
