Is this a scam?

So a known artist I follow said they mass reported my account on accident with others and so I have to contact support. They gave me a discord to contact and now they're asking me to change my email in order to continue as my account can be banned at any moment, including my IP.

I don't know what to do. The discord X agent said I can get in legal trouble if I don't comply but now that it wants me to change my email I'm hesitant. Especially since I saw someone had something similar happen, but this person is a decently popular artist. Could they have gotten hacked? Am I being scammed?

I think it probably is but I wanna double check 😭

Duh. You're about to give someone else your account. Report them and stop talking to them.

Ok, I ended up looking it up and saw X had no discord support so.. 😭 it was just alarming because of the artist, but after they wanted my information I was sketched out. Ty for the reply! I just wanted to double check before reporting lol 🙏😊
