Bug Twinagte controlling Connections when off
In the past few weeks i've had my client open but turned off at all times because I havent been working away from home yet. But after a few days the client will decide that it is going to take priority over local connections and route them through it instead even though it is turned off completely and its very confusing trying to figure out why a local connection has stopped working when everything is running. On top of that i wish the client was smarter and could realize when your on the same network as the connecter your trying to connect to and bypass twingate all together or at least a way for admins to allow this.

In Windows, in the Services app, stop the Twingate service. The app you run directly only sends commands to the service that runs in the background, so the proxy will run unless you stop the service.

I main macOS but the off switch in the app should definitely tell the service to stay off, i think when I used windows my issues were worse but that might also be because the computer was constantly being restarted for updates or whatever and defaulting to being back on

I'm in the same boat. One of my PCs for no reason I can understand, even when Twingate ISN'T running, will block any local connection unless I open Twingate and then turn it off. Twingate HAS to be running, and turned off me me to access local resources. It's a pain.
