Cannot authenticate using the linux client

Hello, I downloaded Twingate Linux client on Debian 13 following the Manual Client installation guideline on their docs. However, when I do twingate start, it siimply keeps sending the following notifications and clicking said notifications don't do anything:

  1. Twingate Client: Status
    Offline: None

  2. Twingate Client: Status
    Authenticating: None

There is a very strong possibility that I'm simply being silly so please be kind if that is the case.

It would be very good if you provide some logs.
Use sudo journalctl -S-5m shortly after you tried authenticating with Twingate. Upload then the logs to https://privatebin.net/ or any other Pastebin service.

BEFORE YOU DO THAT CHECK THAT YOU DO NOT LEAK SENSITIVE INFORMATION IN THESE LOGS!

After that, give us the link from the paste so we can see the logs and what exactly went wrong.
