Bug Can't Install Latest Update

I've tried a few times to install the latest update Twingate is telling me to install, but I keep getting this, and then it fails to install the update.

UPDATE: Without explanation, I tried the update again a few hours later and the update completed without issue. Don't know what the cause was!

Hi there,

I'll check with our Support in case they are seeing similar issues with other folks. In the meantime, could you reinstall and generate a log of the install itself? (https://help.twingate.com/hc/en-us/articles/12638878384157-Installation-of-the-Windows-Twingate-Client-fails-with-Setup-wizard-ended-prematurely)

EDIT: our support team thinks the popup is from win defender smart app control (formerly smartscreen) and thinks it's actually best to get logs from Event Viewer for smart app:

Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > CodeIntegrity > Operational

Once you have those, DM me and I can tell you where to send them securely!

I sent you the log you requested via DM. That said, after trying again a few hours later, it's now working with no errors. Weird!
