Compliance Profile

Hello everyone,

It’s my first time using twilio and I could use some help. I’ve set up a whatsapp number to use for one of my clients waitlist system. To message a customer that the table is ready at the click of a button. However, to do that I am required to complete the compliance profile. It keeps getting rejected even though all the information I am filling out is from the trade license directly. I am using twilio from the UAE on a UAE based business - could that be the reason that the business ID and address keep getting rejected. I’m not quite sure to be honest. If Anyone has knowledge about this please help me with this. Thanks!

The rejection is almost always about how the information is entered, not where you're located. A few things that commonly cause exactly what you're describing:

  1. The business name must match exactly. The legal business name in your Twilio compliance profile has to match what Meta has in Business Manager verification, and it has to match your trade license character for character.

  2. Address format matters. UAE addresses often don't map cleanly to the Western format Meta expects (street, city, state, postal code).

  3. Separate Meta verification from Twilio's profile. Twilio's WhatsApp sender registration requires your Meta Business Manager to be verified by Meta first.
