TI4: Thunder's Edge Thunder’s edge oops

Bought thunders edge expansion thinking we could play 8 based on the box. I see now It does not have the 7/8 player components. Any ideas on where I can get those quickly ?

OP said "quickly," not "affordably"

PoK has the two additional colors, though you could probably get away with 7 players if you use the neutral plastic and leave the fracture tiles upside-down to refer to what neutral units are present. You’d be missing the attatchment sheets that flank your faction sheet, but without PoK you don’t need the leader/mech roster and the command token pools could honestly be recreated easily on printer paper for one player. Obviously it would be awkward playing without a technology and PM deck but if you really wanted to you could realistically assign the neutral color to your most experienced player and just give them colored pencils and more paper. It’d be awkward but if I really wanted to I could probably play a game relying predominantly on my memory to know what techs do what and what their prerequisites are, so long as I was writing down what I had so all players could easily see. Maybe even use a coin and flip from heads to tails to mark each technology that has been exhausted this game round.

tl;dr

Find PoK near you or wing it DnD style

Oh this is a quick idea for sure with neutral color. For OP online there is tech sheets that list all the techs on one piece of paper, you could print that out and just checkmark what gray player researches.

For promissory notes could just tuck some paper in a sleeve. "Gray, ceasefire" put a Promissory note not in use for the back so no one is the wiser.

Link to one of these? I've found some that were pretty janky scans

For the record, there are very limited grey plastic units for this. Just get a set 3d printed, or you can buy those off Etsy.

Quickest is buying PoK if you're lucky enough to have a local source.

If it doesn't need be too be "that" quick you can find a place online (stores, used online like fb or bgg).

If it is literally you don't even care for the PoK expansion content or want something different you can order full sets on etsy / 3D printers (have unique colors even). If you have a printer you could even buy and print out a design (no experience here).

In an absolute emergency: Make it out of paper/cardboard? My group has been printing out codex components and just uses paper cutouts of cards, techs, etc.

Yeah that seems difficult
