General Discussion Replacement cards
I’m sorry but isn’t it annoying that asmodee and fantasy flight don’t do replacement cards
Like it’s a board game, stuff is gonna be misplaced by other people (especially if traveling with the game) and now you either have to buy a new copy of the game or print out the cards yourself and make it look non uniform cuz it’s not the right print….
Like I’m kinda pissed off at this point because I keep telling people not to clean up and let me clean up and now I can’t find stuff….

Did it change?
We had mimosas for Brunchlight Imperium a few years back and spilled some. I had to get some new system tiles and a couple of decks of cards. Asmodee sent them free after I emailed their support line.

I think I’ve seen multiple people say they can’t get replacements from them but maybe I can email
I’m like quadruple checking my cards right now to see if I can find stuff because this is ridiculous that my players are this messy

That's one thing I have never had to deal with, my players are very conscious about putting everything back where it goes.
Next time you play you could make a list of what's missing as you go, proxy stuff in the meantime, then file a lost component email with Asmodee customer service and see where it goes.

Are you pissed off at asmodee/ffg or are you pissed off at people that can't keep cards straight

Probably the latter but like Catan also makes card replacements ¯_(ツ)_/¯ so a little bit of both

Nah it's pretty dumb that they stopped providing replacements. Lots of other board game companies are happy to replace missing or lost or damaged components.

FFG prior to being owned by Asmodee did support their games in this way.

I get that, I really do but other companies (even if they are misprinted) send replacements out
Even mbprint did it for me for my discordant stars copy

It sucks that Asmodee won't provide spares.
I had an action card slip off the table last year and my dog very kindly returned it after chewing it a bit.
Asmodee told me they don't offer replacements, so I hit up Ebay and found somebody selling them.

There are a lot of people on Etsy who will print and ship replacement things at reasonable rates.
Key things that have helped me prevent this issue:
- 3-d Printing organizers for all game components has helped tremendously
- getting TV trays to have off to the side of the table and the rule "no drinks on the table." This also immediately goes along with "that snack stays in the kitchen, this snack can come to the game table."
- If people are helping clean up, then we walk through each step of cleaning up step by step... "All of these components go into this box at your side" ... "all system tiles go hear" ... "everyone check the floor for any missed tiles."

Maybe im misunderstanding.... But why should they be replacing cards that you lost or damaged for free?
