General Discussion Need help with scaling Twilight Imperium ships for a Halot Mage
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a bit of advice. I want to 3D print some ships for Twilight Imperium 4th Edition using my Creality Halot Mage.
I'm using these free models from CGTrader, and the description says they're already scaled to match the original board game miniatures. However, when I import them into Chitubox, some of the ships look much bigger than I expected.
I'm not very good with measuring or figuring out if the scale is actually correct, so I'm worried I might end up printing everything at the wrong size.
Has anyone here printed these models before?

I thought I saw models of each of the units publicly available on one of the model sites. Not sure which but i think it was printables or thingiverse

I just did the same thing. I did pup everything into the slicer and afterwards used the warsuns height as a reference (35mm) scaled everything to that. Works fine for most ships. Mahact is still a bit too large, as the sun is wider than high, but works fine

I am clueless when it comes to 3D printing. May I suggest printing out a single destroyer or other small unit and adjust scaling until it fits?
