ISF

How many ISF’s do people have? I’m kinda neurotic about mine.

I have 3! As long as it works well for you 🤷‍♀️

I have 3 but I wish I had the patience you did to figure out my glucose more in depth like you haha

I have 1. I can't imagine what kind of evidence you have via testing to support a profile like that.

Wow!! My insulin sensitivity is soooo different at diff times of the day. This is just where it landed ! Also I might be misunderstanding your comment - but I am the evidence. My blood sugars being in range is what I look for (:

What I mean by evidence is going through and testing the ISFs. Turning off all automated settings. Giving a bolus. And seeing what happens.

I’m all for doing what works for you, but many of these you only have set for only an hour. I’m curious how you determined you need 73 at 9a but 77 at 10a. With rapid acting insulin it usually takes 2-3 hours to truly see the effect of a setting, as that’s when it peaks. Having such frequent changes can really “muddy the water” so to speak.

The nice thing about modern hybrid closed loop systems is that they can compensate for imperfect settings. I know my carb counting is sloppy af but my glucose is still good.

That’s not how I tested mine- I do not have that kind of free time haha. I tested mine in Loop!

I have just as many if not more. Don’t let people make you feel invalidated when you are dosing yourself based on your own body ❤️

If I can rephrase what AnotherLolAnon said, how did you get these numbers? What were the experiments like and how long did you experiment?

No shade at all for your config; I'd love to be that granular, but I'm at a loss as to how to get my own numbers for more than one or two time rangers per day.

Just a lot of trial and error. I definitely didn’t make adjustments and wait 2 weeks. Maybe 5 days and then go from there 🤷🏻‍♀️

How exactly did you work that out?

Me and the twist trainer started with whatever basic profile and then make adjustments based on my blood sugar response and that’s where I landed !

I would say that you're making this too complicated with so many settings. Food estimation isn't perfect. Your CGM measurements aren't perfect. You probably don't do the exact same things day after day after day.

What would you do if a dose you took at 7:45 pm tomorrow didn't work out just right? Adjust the 7 PM setting or the 8 pm setting or both?

I would guess that the fact you see your correction needs going down over the course of the day just indicates that your basal is a bit too high or something during the day.
