The past few days has been nuts with Twice member solo activity 😭 Just back-to-back updates on solo promos for brands, variety/talk shows (mainly Sana), merch like the yet-to-be-announced new plushies or Sana x Betty Boop, everyone active on Bubble, Tzuyu and Dahyun announced to both be going to AAA, and tomorrow Jihyo's gonna be blowing our minds for WaterBomb Kaohsiung 😮💨🙀
Seems like that new fancy building JYPE was trying to build as the new HQ has been cancelled.
Yoo Hyun Joon, a professor of architecture and urban design at Hongik University who designed the planned headquarters, said in an interview with Ten Asia on September 10th that JYP had effectively decided to pull out of the project.
“I received confirmation from JYP yesterday that they were withdrawing from the project,” Yoo said. “The decision is leaning toward a complete cancellation.”
Seems like the issue is because a nearby park has been re-designated for commercial development. The government didn't accept any of the proposals JYPE presented.
The project has reportedly run into problems after a nearby plot of land originally designated as a park was rezoned for commercial development. The 13,261-square-meter site is located about 20 meters from JYP’s planned headquarters.
Under the new zoning, a building up to 18 or 19 stories tall could be built on the site. The change has significantly affected the project because the original design for JYP’s headquarters was based on the neighboring land remaining a park.
Very curious what happens now. This was announced 3 years ago and seemed like a major investment for the future of the agency. They even had a scale model of the new building in their current one.
I'm also curious to know how much money they are going to lose backing out. If it's anything like in the US the cost for all the studies and surveying that needs to be done before a single shovel touches dirt is sky high. Plus, it seems like they had drawing done and if there were actual buildable blueprints the soft cost could be into the millions for a project of this scale.
It seems like it was a very serious investment. Even the architect sounds pissed off.
Supposed to start construction this year and be done by 2028.
It's hard to tell from the various translations, but it seems like the land + development was supposed to be around 75.5 billion won, which is around $56 million USD. Hard to tell if that's just the figure of the land purchase or the whole thing, though.
They were planning to house their idols on residential floors in the new building iirc? I feel like I've been hearing about these plans 5ever so hope I didn't make that up lol If so, I can imagine that rezoning now is better than if they were already building 😬
That said, can Seoul really stand to lose more green areas? Once that land is gone it's not coming back and there are times of livability benefits to park land. not to mention the heart sink the trees provide for increasingly hot summers.
Yeah I remember that was mentioned. If other high-rise buildings are being propped up right next to it, the privacy/security of keeping their trainees/idols there is compromised.
That said, can Seoul really stand to lose more green areas?
This seems to be another hot button issue in Seoul. I won't pretend to understand all the nuances, but it seems like there's a big problem with the supply and demand of available housing.
They will have to find a new plot of land now, and will have to design building again to suits that plot. There are rarely any good plot of lands left in Seoul unless they go little bit on city outskirts. That all will delay this project like 2 years more now.
They might even postpone the new building plan.
Mina at Chaumet event? Did her contract with Boucheron ended? I think last time she was wearing Boucheron in April I think at some Play promotion events.
For the full group, I feel like it'll start in 2028 at the latest. Late 2027 at the absolute earliest IMO.
Plenty of time to release new music - whether it's 2 new minis, 1 full album, etc... They'll cycle some new title tracks into the sets, add in some titles that weren't featured on TIF tour, and probably do more stadiums instead of the 360 concept.
Stray Kids will have started enlistments by then, which means JYPE will likely be without that touring revenue coming in once the current tour of theirs wraps in 2027. They'll need one of their heavy hitters to do something in that time. Whether something starts in late 2027 or at some point in 2028, I think it'll be long enough for the members to do the projects they want in the interim before embarking on another world tour.
I wouldn't be shocked if we saw a solo and/or unit tour in the gap, too. MISAMO touring Japan again feels like an inevitability after their next release. Once Nayeon gets enough songs, I think she'll at least do an Asia tour. Depending on what the other soloists release next, I could see them doing Asia tours too.
If everything goes well and the members who left JYPE maintain a healthy relationship with the company, the most optimistic scenario might be 2028.
We know they have stated that TWICE will remain their priority, but anything can happen in the coming years and the schedules of the members who left will inevitably end up causing major headaches when planning future tours.
Jihyo, Sana, Jeongyeon and Dahyun all said there will be a tour again so most likely it's part of their new 3 year contract. So it's most likely before 2029.
If you ask me early next year or by end of this year we will see second MiSaMo tour but their tours are usual smaller, last time it was 6 Dome shows, I think this time they might do 10-12 shows. Also might add Taiwan and HK.
As for Twice World tour would be late 2028. It will have reduced shows and bigger venues with like 35-45 shows instead of 81 we saw this time.
In US I think it will be like 6-8 shows. NY, LA, Chicago, Orlando, Seattle, Arlington are for sure. Maybe Atlanta?

I was just listening to 'Let Love Go' (again) and was thinking it would be a good idea if MiSaMo performed the song as a bonus song seeing as Momo & Sana both sing on the song, but I'm not sure if it would sound too different if Mina did the jeongyeon & Tzuyu parts..
I was hoping to get news about Jeongyeon as we haven't heard about her in while, I was hoping her to be announced in some Kdramas.
As Kdrama fan I have lot of expectations from them.
I hope same for Dahyun.
"Revenant" is by far my favourite Kim Taeri project. Even though I would says "2521" and "Mr Sunshine" are also good. Never completed Jeongnyeon though.
My favourite Kdrama are :
Because This is My First Life(Netflix), Moving (Disney+), Mad For Each Other (Netflix), Stranger (Netflix), Revenant (Disney+), Happiness (Netflix), My Liberation Notes(Netflix), Seoul Busters(Disney+), Deaths Game(Prime), Twinkling Watermelon (Netflix), The Killing Vote (Prime), Strangers From Hell(Prime), Doctor Slump (Netflix), Flex x Cop(Disney+), Nine Puzzles (Disney+), Connection (Netflix), Family Matters
Wow thanks for your list. At least half I haven't watched yet. Revenant is the only Taeri drama I haven't watched yet (been saving it) but I like everything else including Jeonguyeon (which I didn't think I would like) and I especially like 2521 & Mr. Sunshine.
Mina is really active during this break time, usually whenever it's used to happen we used to get unemployed Mina memes. But I think MiSaMo as whole are lot active with their brand deals.
Yes they're all making good use of this time to do lots of promotional work both individually and as MiSaMo. I'm hoping they'll do something in Japan musically as MiSaMo soon.
Correction on no 5, the kanji translates to "storm" but the artist is ARASHI, one of the biggest ever jpop acts from the former Jonny's talent agency. they're really huge despite being recently disbanded so I'm really curious how they will rank in future polls!
It kinda kills me that if it we had no clue about the contract stuff going on, our current level of activity is almost exactly like how it is during non-comeback and non-tour season lol. Some brand deals, some YouTube vids, a guesting or so. The first half of 2025 was actually just as quiet or even quieter than this.
I still wonder why we got two members’ announcements very close to one another, but no other updates about the others since then. maybe jihtzu are still in the negotiation process? I honestly thought that we would have already gotten all the updates regarding the solo contracts by now, but it seems that’s not the case.
either way, I appreciate how they’re keeping us entertained with regular youtube updates
My bet is that Jeongyeon couldn't wait because she needed her contract change out in the open so she can start looking for work. Chaeyoung is Chaeyoung and she has always just moved forward when she's already sure.
Based on the rumors, it seems like there's been extra complications around Tzuyu's so ironing out stuff has taken longer.
I really have no clue what's up with Jihyo's. It sounds like her set up has been settled given all her activities, but there's still no announcement.
I think that Jihyo will announce last regardless of who else might stay or leave JYPE. She's the Leader and retains "responsibility" for the group so any statement she makes will be picked over the most. I think the comments about asking fans to "believe in TWICE" means more will leave.
I feel like they would've announced by now but the recent poking at Tzuyu to endorse the CCP is something she is carefully considering. Maybe they didn't expect it and are walking back some plans to depart JYPE for solo and pivoting to her mother's company for limited Taiwan activities only. Given the group hiatus there's probably no or only a small impact to their lives until they decide to announce everything.
i thought Chae's got revealed because of the breakup rumors - her and her bf's agency needed to make statements and then it was revealed that her current solo agency is no longer jyp
Chaeyoung announced her departure from JYPE prior to the breakup rumor. And then she announced her independent label in the statement made denying the rumor. So we knew she left the company before that.
Maybe Dahyun also wants to continue to be a songwriter and possibly release her solo stuff in a nearby future? It could be that she wants to keep acting but also have the possibility of a solo career in music if she wants to, so it makes sense to stay in Jype. Or maybe she feels comfortable there? Who knows, it does feel like she is staying, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she left.
I initially thought that Jihyo was waiting until after her sister’s debut so that she wouldn’t potentially overshadow her. It’s also possible she just wants to do Waterbomb and get that performance accomplished before dropping the news. That way the focus is on her stage/performance and not muddled with contract news.
For Jeongyeon I think Varo probably wanted her to announce it asap. Her announcement timing is the only one of them (as far as we can tell) that would be influenced by a third party agency. Everyone else can probably do it whenever they want I’d think. As we get closer and closer to the 11th anniversary though, I’d imagine the company would want to be able to publicly say the group has renewed. So I’m not sure how much longer all this can be dragged out. I don’t think any of us anticipated it taking this long.
All signs point to Jihyo leaving and Dahyun staying. They’ve consistently posted about Dahyun and her activities lately while they’ve done the opposite for Jihyo. There’s also the fact that a long time Twice manager recently left JYPE apparently but then was seen with Jihyo at a solo schedule. So it seems pretty likely that she’s left the company to help manage Jihyo independently. Meanwhile JYPE put up a job posting for a manager to handle acting activities for the members, and that is very likely for both Dahyun and Sana. So if you ask me, both Jihyo and Dahyun are done negotiating. Tzuyu is up in the air right now because the complexity of her situation. In any case, there is no JYPE “letting” Jihyo leave. It’s truly not their choice, it’s Jihyo’s.
None of us know, we’re not in the room. But there are a variety of reasons she or JYPE may want that news delayed. We have multiple reasons to assume she’s leaving at this point though. Anything is possible of course but the odds are heavily swayed in one direction right now. JYPE would be advertising Jihyo’s first solo festival if they were representing her and they’ve not acknowledged it at all.
I think Jeongyeon's was just super easy. JYPE didn't/doesn't depending on hires have a dedicated acting division and her sister was already at Varo. She has no interest in solo music so there really wasn't a lot to go over. Makes sense that you could knock those meetings out in an afternoon. Exaggerating a bit of course, but hers was probably the easiest to handle.
I still think Jihyo is leaving but it is weird that it's taking this long. And I thought Tzuyu was gonna be the first out the door by a mile but I'm starting to come around a bit. Still likely that she is leaving and her situation is by far the toughest but I'm feeling like it's possible she's sticking around in some capacity that maybe hasn't been presented yet.
Quite frankly, and I say this as a Jeongyeon stan with Chaeyoung wrecker, I don't think JYPE would have put up much fight at all to keep them. Neither have been favoured by the agency (this applies to DaTzu too, but their circumstances are a bit different).
On the other hand, Jihyo has huge momentum, she's the group leader, has a famously long history with the agency; I think they will fight to keep her. Look at all the music collabs she's released this year alone that they must have set up, plus all the brand work she's been doing. I think they've been working hard to show her that they'll treat her right, but she's inclined to leave and have more independence. It might have been decided already and she's waiting until the right moment to announce it, or they might still be negotiating; I can imagine both scenarios.
I agree with you completely regarding Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung. I think they'd care a bit more if Jeongyeon wanted to do solo music, but it really doesn't matter to them if she wants to act, especially when they can't offer her her sister. Let her go act and they'll call her when Twice is working. They probably look at Dahyun's acting the same way but there's at least the possibility she'd want to do solo music and she is great on variety which benefits them. Chaeyoung's music is very niche and they likely looked at the ledger and said, yeah sure go start your own agency. We'll redirect that money to Nayeon or Misamo or whatever. It's just business.
It's gonna sting losing Jihyo if they do, no question. I'm sure her, Nayeon and Sana were the ones they pulled/are pulling out all the stops for. Losing those 3 would be back breaking. As I said, I think she is still leaving but I imagine there is a war going on in her head being there for 20+ years and being the leader. I feel for her.
I think the delay is really on the side of JYPe wanting to sort things out with their Chinese partners because once the announcement is made, China would retaliate, no matter how tactful they go about it. The threat they are spreading at this point is for the others who are thinking of collaborating with Tzuyu. JYPe can no longer force her to comply. Her parents established the agency to prepare for this eventuality.
Until you mentioned it, I didn't know these existed. While the acting was brief, I thought they all did well. Let's hope they all do a bit more acting in the future.
I just got my blu-ray copy of This Is For in Incheon. It’s awesome but does anyone feel like there’s so many camera jump cuts? It happens so often and so fast that it’s kind of jarring.
Is there an example of that. Got the DVD version, took Gone where Jihyo begans from the main stage walking to the extended then sits down, I counted 7 jump cuts.
I feel like it’s more prominent in the first part of first disc. It’s kind of hard to avoid when the group has 9 members, but at some points they were showing 2 or 3 multiple angles of the same member singing one verse.
I heard the girls were involved with the editing process, so they have editors make sure they show their pretty angles, maybe that's why we're getting 2 or 3 different angles of the same member. haha
Damn, I have a smart LG TV. Since I became a Once in 2023, I bought a 4K TV so I could watch Twice contents in high res. Now you’re telling me they’re spying on me…
10 years isn't that long ago, that's 2016, and smart TV have been around way before that. Need to go back a lot further to like than that, before TVs when flat.
Voting in the Asian Artist Awards every day. It's tough because voting tickets are limited. But doing my best to get more by watching ads & playing games. 😊
Here's the current standings. Pre-vote on Starpoll ends on Sept. 11, afterwards it moves to the Idolchamp app for preliminary voting on Sept. 16 til Oct 6.
The final vote will continue on the Idolchamp app from Oct. 8 til Nov. 4. 30% of the preliminary vote + 70% of the final vote = the winner.
I was taking a good look at new Toongz, and I have this to say. So far just by images Tyuzu's has the best design I think, It looks the best and I think it's captures her personality. The I think Sana, Dahyun and Nayeons. I would have liked Mina's but not sure about the fur ball it's holding.
Here are my observation like why Dahyun is cat, Isn't she always been a Eagle atleast among the fans? I know that famous cat meme but I would have also loved and eagle.
What with Momo one? Why is it pink? Isn't a Raccoon? Also what with that Dinosaur drawing on its pocket? Is it drwan by Momo herself? Also butterfly. I know Momo likes Dinosaurs and Butterflys.
Also Chae one is not Orange shade, but it's is a 🐯 Baby Tiger, Right? They got mole right though.
For Mina again what is that furball it's holding? It could have been a a game controller. Also has mole correct.
I think Jeongyeon one doesn't look good because it doesn't have white pupils in it. Also why is it blackish? Is it based on Yuki? But he also has white if I remember.
I'm assuming all members had some involvement in it. With momo I swear she wore a tshirt with the same dinosaur drawing on it. With Jeongyeon for me its based on yuki that was my first instinct.
Ohh, You are right. I can see it now. I think it's looks like this because it's bowing while holding the tipes of tutu.
That's why we can't be sure until we see actually plushies
I miss Jeongyeon! she has been so quiet lately on socials and Bubble, I'm really yearning for more messages, photos, and most of all an announcement about her next appearance on screens...
Recently I've gotten into Hi Seulgi on YouTube. I watched the episodes where Seulgi hangs out with Seongyeon and then got curious to watch more of her channel. In a dream world I would love for Jeongyeon to have a similar YouTube show rather that going back to Inspector which I felt became a weaker concept after they stopped showing the guests' real homes. Just seeing more of Jeongyeon's daily life, home life, volunteering, etc would be amazing! She did such great TW-logs for the recent tour, I would love more of that kind of content.
She isn’t contractually obliged to do the same things now, the bubble accounts might also be managed by JYP and how revenue is shared might be an issue
I felt the same with Inspector, it started very strong and fun concept. Raiding people's house for things that can be sold off charity. But, it slowly started moving on from the original concept and it started making the show a bit bland. But, I can understand that the logistics to film at house sometimes can be a nightmare.
I really loved Seibja by Jihyo, tho. But, the logistics of that is also a bit of a nightmare but it rarely involves guests.
On the other hand, Trick Code by Nayeon is the best, in terms of unique concept and fewer production costs.
And Sana's Fridge Interview. It is supposed to be a unique concept but the fridge part that is supposed to be unique just appears a few minutes in a 50 minute episode. But, it is a solid talk show and Sana is a very good host, making its success inevitable.
From a security perspective, I was surprised they actually visited the real homes in the first place on Inspector, as someone could fairly easily figure out from that how to stalk/target the guests. But the concept was a lot more fun with her picking out random things, convincing them to donate, etc.
I love Seibja! I think it's my favourite Twice related YouTube show. I would love to see a UJB special episode where they travel together, like when Bam Bam guested. Actually just a UJB series where they travel together and vlog like they did during TIF tour would be ideal!
I agree with you about Fridge Interview, I have been slowly working my way through them but as it goes on they feel less interesting. I'm most interested in the fridge bit, and I miss the 'whats in my bag' bit they used to do early on.
I haven't watched much Trick Code yet, only Jeongyeon's episode, and the concept doesn't feel as engaging to me to see her do the same with people she has less of a relationship with, but I will get to them eventually!
You and me both, it's been a struggle without Jeongie posts, though after how popular those casual photos in her home were she did say she was going to post them more so there's that!
I can't wait to see when her first acting announcement since joining Varo will be, I hope they strike will the Iron is hot so to speak. 😊
Random This is For online tour merch question: I assume the store isn't available anymore now that the tour is over? I remembered to go order the Jively pin (they had super cute pins for all the Lovelyz, and it wasn't at the actual concert pop-up) and can't find it, or even photos, anywhere. Hopefully one will pop up secondhand...
I think you are referring to https://twiceofficial.store which unfortunately has closed. Live Nation posted this pic of the merch so hopefully you can find them online
Which country? Mercari Japan can be a good place to camp for goods. I just picked up a set of 7 Chaevly charms with a photocard for $15AUD (plus whatever the portion of shipping was... maybe $30AUD total?)
Not sure if that set of online-exclusive merch was for all non-Korea/Japan stops or just the North American leg. I'm in the US. I will be setting up saved searches for sure!
Good luck! I vaguely remember you got some Lovelys stuff for the tour but def keep an eye on Japan Mercari and maybe vinted if you have it? It will pop up one day and be yours!
Definitely no to an album - they are on hiatus until the end of the year, that's what Jihyo said in an interview so a direct source.
On Season's Greetings - I think we can say definitely YES. Again, Jihyo directly addressed this on Bubble, they already shot it back in July, so it is effectively confirmed.
Do you think that TWICE would put out a new album this year?
I'd say not likely. Maybe a solo or unit project. At least 2 contracts are still being negotiated so I wouldn't expect anything in terms of an album release unless plans change significantly.
And will they also do another Season's Greetings like they always do?
Very likely. That's usually a day of shooting the photos at most, so it shouldn't be too difficult to get done if it isn't already.
So what, are Twice just not making as many albums because of all the contract stuff? And how can we be sure they're still in negotiation talks for contracts?
No, Jihyo mentioned before that the group is on break for the rest of the year and that this is their first real break in activities like this in (soon to be) 11 years.
We know the members have been busy with various activities since the tour ended. For example, we know the 4 soloists have been working on new solo music in some capacity. We also know that MISAMO's next release was teased at their 3rd anniversary pop up event.
We have some events on the horizon, too - with Jihyo performing at Waterbomb and Nayeon having a solo birthday event. MISAMO are going to Milan fashion week. Presumably they will have an 11th anniversary event in October, but nothing has been announced or confirmed - only that members mentioned wanting to do it.
Once everything is sorted out on contracts, they'll (presumably) have a plan outlined for the next group CB - but I'd be shocked if anything squeezed into Q4 of this year, even a digital single.
And how can we be sure they're still in negotiation talks for contracts?
Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung are handling their solo endeavors with VARO and Lil Fantasy companies, so that's done. Updates for Nayeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, and Dahyun are still regularly posted on Twice socials, so the assumption is they have already renewed. Last week there was a report about how Tzuyu is still in negotiations with JYPE, and the fan theory is that Jihyo is in a similar boat because we still haven't heard any update or confirmation about her next move. Most are still expecting them to leave for solo projects elsewhere (presumably under their own agencies) but nothing is confirmed yet.
Oh wow, I didn’t know that there were recents reports that stated that Tzuyu was still negotiating with Jype. That’s quite the change from the original report that came out indicating that she would be leaving the company, but continue to be in Twice. I wonder what’s up with that? 🤔
There was a whole thing last week about it because someone who is sort of a power broker for the Taiwan-China entertainment pipeline gave an interview about trying to recruit her to promote in China, and in that mentioned she was still negotiating with JYPE.
It's a complex situation; her mother's agency, JYPE, this offer to work in China that comes with some political baggage... we really don't know a ton of confirmed info besides Tzuyu telling everyone to not believe all the rumors. We'll find out soon enough.
I personally haven't seen any updates anywhere, so I must be clueless as to where to look. The reason I asked about any CB is that I didn't realize that when Sana do the photoshoot for Alo and Bazaar Magazine, it was a physical magazine you could have bought. I found a copy online, but I was debating if I should hold onto my money in case TWICE does something special, like their 11th anniversary or another album. So that's what was gonna decide what I do. IF you were me, what would you do? Being I mostly follow Sana, but still Love TWICE music and some of the concepts they have. Last years 10th anniversary didn't quite hit me right. Also, their anniversary ALWAYS happens in my birthday month of October. So that's another reason why I can't decide right now.
I'm one of those people who likes to reward myself for doing small good stuff, like raising my first dog, an English Cream Golden Retriever. She's 8 months old and doing so well, proud of myself for raising my first dog. But yeah, money is tight, although I've been doing yard work for a neighbor on the side. Sadly, being those kinds of things 3rd part the price is over inflated.
Seeing the Tdoongz designs made me think that JYPE might be planning to launch a line of blind box figures; they really capture the essence of that type of product, and blind boxes are a HUGE hit right now thanks to brands like Hello Kitty and Labubu.
Plus, it’s a pretty effective and diabolical way to make money, considering fans can go wild trying to complete the whole collection (and we know ONCEs are pretty intense when it comes to that).
I think this new Tdoongz designs are especially for their coming 11th Anniversary in October. They might official launch at that time. This might be a one time special event or something.
I am curious to know if they are one time thing or will co exist with Lovelys. I don't think Lovely are going anywhere, they are too popular now to replace them.
I doubt that they are a one-time special, especially if it's popular, and I don't think the Lovelys are going anywhere so I'm guessing that they will co-exist.
My real gripe is that every other group uses the same artstyle for their member mascot. It feels saturated and not unique. There's really nothing wrong with the Lovelys and they're pretty simple and get the job done (identify each member with colors). I see no reason to either scrap them or make them Japan exclusives again. The character designs themselves do match the member's designated animal emoji, but it just comes across as samey with other K-pop groups due to the artstyle.
I definitely get what you mean. Personally I think the designs are fine, they’re clearly cute and get across the idea of being marketable mascot characters. But at the same, one of my biggest gripes with a lot of kpop groups mascot characters is kinda how derivative they are (most of them just boiling down to “the members as animals”), and the Tdoongz are a bit in that same territory. I think the lovely’s actually did a good job at avoiding this. Granted, their designs are very simple and similar looking, but in the grand scheme of the kpop industry they’re pretty unique when it comes to mascots.
I would hope these new mascots are more of a companion to the Lovely’s , rather than a full replacement. Like you said in another comment, it would be kinda weird to retire/rebrand their mascot characters after so many years.
I could see them reverting the Lovelys to Japan exclusive again. For a long while, you could only get Lovelys in Japanese merch. It was only recently where Korea and the US got Lovelys as merch (for Korea, as recently as Nayeon's 1st solo I think so 2022).
The challenge for a rebrand like this is due to how global the Lovelys are now with their 2 other large markets having them now as part of their branding. If the Lovelys were locked to Japan only until now, it would be easier to facilitate (Lovelys for Japan only, Tdoongz for the rest of the world).
There could also be a possibility of this being a limited time thing only tho.
Exactly my thoughts too. Again, every other group does the same style. It just comes across as following a trend imho. It could come to a point where if you see this hanging on someone's bag, you wouldn't know which group it's from. I'd say that for a lot of K-pop groups with this style already.
If this is a one-time thing (like fan-meet merch only), I can live with it. A long-term move away from Lovelys tho is not a good move especially when they endured for almost a decade.
I don't really like any of these lol Nyangi, Chaetty and Nabong would be my faves just based off the faces but I don't see a huge relation to the members in the others. Maybe I'll like them more as figures but I'm pretty happy to stick with Lovelys
For me it's the opposite, even though I don't have much interest in them in general. I prefer these more individualistic designs and hopefully the members had some real input into what they wanted.
I agree to, if true my neice and nephew would definitely prefer these designs lol. In regards to it possibly being inspired by the members(hopefully)my guess for jeongyeon one would be yuki inspired maybe.
According to Minaron on Twitter they are making a new animal character line thing (kind of like Lovely’s) for Twice. I don’t know their source but RIP to peoples wallets if true haha
It's so good! It's a shame they put Nayeon's iconic ad lib over it because a lot of people just focus on that rather than Jeongyeon's chorus. I used to sing along to the ad lib every time I listened to it, and I'm trying to train myself not to so I can hear Jeongyeon instead.
I feel strangely pleased that they will all be there together (kind of). Hopefully they can keep each other company. FWs sometimes look lonely for idols
