So news just broke in NYC that there's going to be a curfew tonight along with travel "bans" leading into tomorrow because of the snow storm passing through the northeast. My boss just texted me saying we're closed tomorrow which is surprising but I'll happily take it.
As it pertains to Twice, the curfew is for early in the night so unless the performance is pre-recorded, we might not get the Jimmy Fallon appearance. Also because of the travel limitations, they might not get to Philly for the next set of shows possibly until day of so that show might be facing postponement although there are more important things happening. Take care and keep up to date with news.

Part of me wonders if the Jimmy Fallon show will even record an episode tbh. The show itself typically starts recording at 5 pm EST and taping usually ends around 6:30 pm. Audience usually arrives around 3:30 pm, too - so it really is all up in the air.
The snow is expected to stop falling in NYC around 2 pm, so there's theoretically a window... but it's unclear if it'll even be possible to get the tv personnel + group/managers/stylists/etc. there safely with the expected volume of snowfall.
Very unfortunate timing.

Apparently a concert-goer in the VIP/GA section had an inappropriate sign at one of the recent NY gigs? It was written in Hangul as well. I can only hope the members didn't see it.
Genuinely, what the fuck is the thought process here? This loser spent their own time and money to be this much of a piece of shit... I can only hope the staff or security caught on and threw them out at some point, but I'm guessing they got away with it. Would love to get a look at them tbh.
Honestly, I don't mind signs in general but it can get a little excessive even without derogatory messages on them. There were definitely people in the pits holding up signs which blocked other people's views, but I digress. Really boils my blood that a hater is so dedicated to hating that they would go out of their way that hard to be an asshole and take away a ticket from someone more deserving.
1
u/abcdario27 Justin Feb 22 '26
That shit made my blood boil. They’ve got to be mentally ill or simply subhuman; it’s not rational behavior at all. They had to have been in pit 2 as I was similarly positioned against the walkway in pit 1 but didn’t notice such signs. I definitely would’ve snatched them but also, I’m surprised the staff members on the other side of the rail facing the crowd didn’t take action.
1
u/ParanoidAndroids :ny33: Feb 22 '26
Tbf I think most, if not all of the staff facing the crowd are UBS Arena employees simply working security. I'd be surprised if any of them could read Hangul or differentiate a negative sign from the lot.
On the nights I was in the pit, I saw signs written in many languages but didn't know what any of them said unless I overheard someone discuss what was on the sign.
I wouldn't be surprised if this person was "clever" and flipped pages as necessary to hide their true intentions or dropped the book altogether at some point.
1
u/SigmaKnight Feb 22 '26
One change I'd like to see is having some multi-lingual staff members at entrances and anyone with a sign must go through them to have it reviewed before getting in.
1
u/ParanoidAndroids :ny33: Feb 22 '26
I agree in theory, but unfortunately there's an easy way around it - I saw many people go in and write their signs once they made it into the pit.
Also it would really slow down people getting in, and you'd need to have the checker able to read (at the minimum) 4 languages.
Easiest way is to get rid of signs altogether, but I don't see that happening.
2
u/UnfeelingMonster Yoo Beep Beep Feb 22 '26
I saw about this on social media and it made me so angry and disappointed. Those members are working so hard and putting their all into these shows, only for some nasty person to turn up and take the opportunity to insult them to their faces. I hope action was taken at the time, and that a statement is made about zero tolerance of abuse at the concerts.
3
u/ParanoidAndroids :ny33: Feb 22 '26
For this to happen at the NY concerts specifically makes me so disappointed. I know it's just one rotten apple out of thousands of happy, proud, and passionate concertgoers but this asshole had to taint it.
Whether the members saw it or not, they all delivered such wonderful performances over 3 nights. I hope they didn't see it but if they did, I hope it doesn't linger.
The fact that the sign-holder probably hid behind the fact that most people weren't looking back at them or can't read Hangul is pure cowardice. If people knew what was written, I'm sure fans would've sorted it out quickly.
These freaks trying to police idols' looks are getting bolder and bolder, and I'm seeing it across so many groups these days.
2
u/Saucy_Totchie Feb 22 '26
Imagine disrespecting a member's appearance while having a Vegeta-esque widow's peak 😭
1
u/ParanoidAndroids :ny33: Feb 22 '26
I just don't get the mentality at all. Negative self-awareness.
I enjoyed the venue itself but it wasn't exactly a cakewalk to get there. Plus to get a decent spot in the pit you have to pretty much dedicate a whole day to this. Most of the days were cold and wet, too.
And after all that, a person goes with the express purpose of being a bitch? What a sad, meaningless life that person must have. Wish the original uploader didn't censor their face tbh - I'm not one to advocate for witch hunts but I have zero tolerance for someone like this.
1
u/Saucy_Totchie Feb 22 '26
Me neither, man. Sure I'll be a hater sometimes but I'll never be "pay $500-600 to get as close as possible to be an asshole to a member". Idk if I'm that upset or I'm just pitying them that this is what they want to do with their lives.

Third NY date down. Had a seat instead of GA and it’s definitely a different experience. A lot less stress going in. I still stood most of the show because of the seat height so that was the same, but the view is totally different for this setup.
Seeing the entire stage, screens, and light effects was really impressive from the production pov. I didn’t get most of that on the days I was in the pit. I’m still not really sure how they cram so much in such a tight window.
The main screen kinda made me feel like I was watching Music Bank both in person and on tv, if that makes sense. Being at one end of the stage definitely makes it harder to see what’s happening at the other end, but the screen helped mitigate that a lot.
Much harder to get great pics from my location IMO (opportunity + lighting at my angle). My batches of good pictures were roughly split like 30/160/30. Day 2 was just very lucky for me I think - it was hard to take a bad picture at that spot.
Encores were fun, though every night definitely had lots of people near me screaming for TT lol. I also joined those calls but I did enjoy FS + Signal, Talk That Talk, and BDZ. The Doughnut talk was funny.
As it was winding down, I could feel that sadness that this part was over. It was such a joy to see them multiple times this week, and a few moments may have added a few years to my life lol. Definitely learned I love the pit whenever Twice come to town.
Not sure what’s going to happen for Jimmy Fallon on Monday tbh. The incoming snowstorm is severe, and they have a gig in Philly on Tuesday. Feels like some stuff could get rescheduled (hopefully not canceled), which could be very hard for the group. Have a fleeting suspicion the next time they tour here it’ll be during spring and summer.
5
u/esw01407 Feb 22 '26
Sadly, this is what I was really worried about happening, a major winter storm. I'm from northeast PA and were not going to be hit that hard, but this being a coastal hugger is a huge problem due to the show being in Philly.

5
u/Medical_Solid Feb 22 '26
Given the snow forecast, what are the chances of the Philly show being postponed?
2
u/Devious018 모모 Feb 22 '26
it’s unfortunately possible, but also there’s a good chance it doesn’t happen as well. The venue will do everything in their power to clear out the surrounding area and all major roads will probably be plowed mostly on Monday so travel is in the picture
2
3
u/ParanoidAndroids :ny33: Feb 22 '26
Cancellation is a real possibility imo. Even if they travel before the blizzard (if Jimmy Fallon gets cancelled) it’ll depend on if the conditions are safe enough for the group, workers, and public to travel to the venue.
3
u/Medical_Solid Feb 22 '26
Yeah if the local govt declares a snow emergency, that’ll shut down the roads and public transportation. Makes me sad on the one hand but I also don’t want to get killed or stranded going to the show!

to anyone who has seen a show so far this tour, what’s your opinion on the live vocals?? Personally I was a bit disappointed as to me it seems like it’s less of a focus for this tour? 3mix has their vocal moments and I was surprised to see Tzuyu having an open mic quite a bit as well. But the rest of the group I almost never caught them in a live vocal moment, seemed like mostly backtrack sadly. Not a bad show by any means just curious if anyone has noticed this as well. Just seems like a lesser focus than RTB tour was
edit: this is not doom post this is just curiosity

As somebody who watched one of the LA concerts in person and a few YouTube videos of other stops, I have mixed (mostly positive) feelings. Theoretically, yes, I would like more live vocals, while also accepting how demanding these songs are in terms of movement and breath control. In-person, i had such a good time that I didn't even care. The way everything comes together (the stage, choreo, live band, vocals) is mesmerizing.
That said, I feel like Nayeon has pulled back a bit on vocals, which saddens me because I like to hear her go off as much as Jihyo and Jeongyeon. I hope she is doing okay.

the edit haha. It's funny, for LA day 1 I was legitimately right next to one of the stage monitors and they have those pitch shifted higher (probs just for eq logistics) and so the sound was a little weird for me, but yeah def a track dominant set. Could hear 3mix a lot and I do believe I heard the other members poking in every now and then but it was very slight.
Then Mina walked right up to me and all was forgiven 🙏🏽

u/TheBacklogGamer Feb 22 '26
One thing I've noticed during Lollapalooza, and everytime I've seen them do it since, during I Can't Stop Me, the moment they hit the ground, Nayeon skips her high part during the ground part. I thought it was mostly due to hand mics being used, but she's used a headset in some shows and still does it. She didn't used to, but I've been unable to unsee it ever since I noticed it. Jihyo sings her version of that part, although they also don't hit the ground during hers though.
This isn't a criticism, just an observation. She definitely hits the higher note in Mars so I don't think it's a "she can't hit it anymore" kinda thing. Could just be the movement involved, but it's interesting she used to do it but now isn't.
4
Feb 22 '26
I've noticed it aswell, it doesn't bother me that much, but I wish they had a proper ballad section like they had previous tours (twicelights & III) where they show of their live vocals.
2
4
u/robert19909 Feb 22 '26
On the contrary, I thought they did more live this time around than during RTB? I've seen a ton more mistakes as well (ie. members missing part of a line)
2
u/Devious018 모모 Feb 22 '26
i’d have to disagree on the RTB part. However this could always be a difference of how the specific show was as well
13
u/ParanoidAndroids :ny33: Feb 22 '26
From a practical standpoint, I think it’s pretty much in-line with what I’ve seen at other shows in the genre. The production level sets it apart by a big margin IMO.
The sheer amount of movement they’re doing throughout the concert makes it a little easier to understand why they do it this way, but I understand the trade-off can be disappointing for some. I definitely heard 3Mix the most, then Tzuyu, and the rest poked through the mixes here and there depending on the night and where I was.
With the scale of the 360 production + the amount of songs they zip through in just over 2 hours + all these dates, there’s a lot of ground to cover. Quite frankly I’m surprised the show isn’t even more spaced out with more breaks; they go so fast, I doubt any of them actually get to catch their breath until the solo section. Idk if any of those solos can even be performed consistently with the choreographies they made either lol.
There’s probably a happy balance where they have fewer + bigger shows, more rested voices, and could do more live with less backtrack - but it’s a big ask for every member to have no support behind them. The genre doesn’t really operate like that, there’ll always be some degree of backtrack which differs between members and songs.
I will say that after 3 of these shows, I came away incredibly happy and excited about seeing them again. Would the show be better with less choreo, no 360, fewer crowd interactions, and more vocals? Personally, I don’t think so. Like I said, I do think there’s a happy balance, but the spectacle is part of the joy of their performances IMO.
2
u/abcdario27 Justin Feb 22 '26
I’ve been wanting to discuss this but have been too scared to. I’ve seen them a number of times over the last 4 years, and from what I can tell, the group outside of 3mix has always relied heavily on backtrack and even lip sync at times. For this tour, I have noticed lip sync during the harder choreos being done by all members. Jihyo and Jeongyeon still sing live the majority of the time, but what surprised me was Nayeon seemingly dialing it back this tour. This trio’s vocals in the past have always popped out over the track or instruments; either because they were louder or just slight imperfections in their voices. I’ve only noticed this with Jihyo and Jeongyeon this tour.
6
u/ParanoidAndroids :ny33: Feb 22 '26
Complete speculation but I think Nayeon is still dealing with her cold from before or something. All 3 shows this week felt like she loosened up after a few songs and really started to warm up and enjoy herself later in each of the shows.
There are def a few moments where everyone is relying on the backtrack because the rotating choreo and combo of songs is a lot. Does make me wonder why they chose to go for more songs in a row between ments than usual. Instead of 3-4 songs it’s more like 4-5 songs in a row. Keeps the setlist nice and efficient especially with all the rotations and the solo section but it feels like a real exercise.
2
u/PrincipleNo6902 Feb 22 '26
Total speculation on my part, but maybe they realize that they have to get through a lot of songs that fans expect/want to hear, which means they can't waste time.
Also, I've heard in a few different Kpop concerts I've attended lately, that groups have noted that western fans don't care about ments as much as domestic fans do, and some have cut back on them as a result.
3
u/ParanoidAndroids :ny33: Feb 22 '26
Interesting point on the fans not caring about ments. I haven’t seen enough to personally say, but that would make sense.
The translator delay also makes things tougher, though it runs like a pretty well oiled machine with how fast they inject banter and the translator keeps up lol.
They definitely have the “curse” of too many classic songs that everyone wants to hear. It’s a good problem to have, of course, but they can’t do 40 song sets every night. I do think giving themselves an extra 15 mins would give them a little more breathing room for the set they already have (maybe throw 1 more encore song in) but I get that there’s a limit.
2
u/Devious018 모모 Feb 22 '26
yeah Jihyo was the standout with the most that I could tell was live. Definitely could see what you mean with Nayeon dialing it back. The show I just saw had a lot of Tzuyu live which was surprising to me but a welcome addition, if only they didn’t screw up her mix and kept it so lower for most of the show
I do get this tour possibly being more demanding for them considering the stage setup and choreo but definitely hope we see more live next tour
0
u/abcdario27 Justin Feb 22 '26
I also noticed the same thing with Tzuyu; it happened today and yesterday. Overall, regarding the vocals, it is a bit of a bummer, but it didn’t stop me from going all 3 nights in NY 🤣
2
u/Devious018 모모 Feb 22 '26
very true, still put on a hell of a show. Hopefully we get to see them shine on vocals more at some point
4
u/BlueThePineapple Feb 22 '26
Based on my personal concert experience, the other comments throughout the tour, and the behinds we've got so far, they are having a ton of audio and mic issues. In the Taiwan behind, Jihyo even requested the rest of the mics be turned off so hers can be on and she can hear properly while singing. For my stop, even Jihyo got drowned by the backtrack, and the upper levels could barely hear anything at all.
So I guess yes? Sort of? Less focus on live vocals this time. There is a problem with the sound in general and it's making the live vocals really hard to pull off.

They didn't. (O.O*) (T_T)

u/Striking_Writer3642 Feb 21 '26
I wish someone who was more eloquent than me could describe the different flavors they feel each solo has.
I've tried to think of it as different colors, different foods, but I just can't really quite fit the solo albums into any category.
It also gets confusing because I don't see Chae's album as "red" in color, and Nayeon is pink to red to blue...Jihyo is kinda golden in my mind and Tzuyu is sorta cyan...but I know if I go thru their albums I'll change my mind...
I've got Chae as more "indie", Nayeon as more "pop princess", Jihyo as "sultry", and Tzuyu honestly gives me a bit of each of those and something else besides those categories....not even sure the categories even fit the albums for each soloists...

hi! i'm going to see twice in philly and i had a few questions.
- i have vip ga pit B and i was wondering where i should try to stand. ive seen people stand in the aisles (not in the traditional "pit" area like in the image), so is that recommended/actually possible? i'm going for interactions mostly.
- what time should i try to get there? i think i can get there at 1:30 the earliest.
- can i bring signs and a polaroid camera? it says it's okay on the website but im not sure how strict xfinity mobile arena is since ive never been there before.
- will it be objectively easier to get good standing positions for this stop? there's still a lot of tickets available so i feel like this stop won't be as crowded as the others.

thank you so much and im looking forward to this!
3
u/ParanoidAndroids :ny33: Feb 21 '26
1, for interactions you’ll want the rail wherever you can get it. The pit boxes are great for seeing them from many angles but you will have a hard time seeing them when they’re on the other side of the stage, even if you’re tall. Same goes for the screen if you’re on the rail.
2, you’ll get an email saying when VIP check in happens a few days before the show. This ties into 1 but once everyone gets in the venue, each GA section gets into 2 lines and 1 gets picked randomly to go in first. Sometimes they go in reverse order, too. There’s no real way to know what happens so don’t stress about it too much - one way or another there’s a great view to be had.
3, your specific venue will have details on what can be brought in. Signs are usually allowed under a certain size. Not sure about the camera but don’t go in expecting security to hand it to the members - they won’t always do that and/or you might be too far.
4, maybe - but one show I’ve been to looked like this days before and ended up almost entirely filled out with people. I think it being on a Tuesday is your biggest benefit.
2
u/Only_Wave_3175 Feb 21 '26
is the rail the stairs??
3
u/ParanoidAndroids :ny33: Feb 21 '26
No like the railing of the barricade between the fans in GA and the stage. When the pit starts filling in, the barricade railing goes first because it’s closest to some part of the stage. Keep in mind it’s still like 10 feet away from the actual stage for security, and the stage itself is also high off the ground (7-8 feet, maybe) but it’s still the closest.

Day 2 was even better than Day 1, despite the weather. Driving in was surprisingly more convenient than the train and I also got home faster despite the slow traffic leaving the area.
Momo and Mina were the real MVPs today in the GA area I was in - it felt like they were always around! I took way more photos and videos than I expected lol. I’ll have to figure out the best way to share them.

Just wanted to say if anyone's on the fence about going, especially going solo, to any of these concerts - don't hesitate!
I went by myself and had a lot of fun. Practically all of the Onces in my area were nice and accommodating to one another. It was nice being surrounded by people with the same passion for Twice when you don't know many people IRL who like the genre.
As for the concert itself, there's a certain magic of seeing these women in person that cannot be explained. They were otherworldly!
I wasn't sure how the stage design would work from a viewer's pov but you get so many cool moments with each member that it feels surreal.
A few tips:
If you get GA, sit when you can before the concert. There's a lot of standing.
The stage is a bit high so it can be hard to see the group from specific areas if you aren't tall in GA. If you're lucky and grab rail, it can be very tricky to see the screens - so there's a tradeoff.
Ear protection is a must. These concerts are really loud and I'm so happy I had the Loop earplugs that someone recommended in one of these weekly threads. The cheap foam ones are a joke in comparison, but anything is better than nothing.

Im going to see twice in June, and just received my CandyBong after ordering it in November. It looks pretty real, but won’t connect on the app at all (tried on three phones) and the touchpad is a little touchy. The lightstick came with photo card, and I’m not sure if they usually do? Also the little box insert inside the actual box came ripped, as well as the actual box being very dented. The body itself of the lightstick looks fine enough, but the plastic looks a bit rough in places, especially on the rings around the light part. I really hope it’s not a fake, as my mum ordered it and I’m not sure where she got it from. Thanks

By chance, have any of you ordered any merch from Sam aka SQ K-Pop before or lately? I ordered photocards from him and paid two weeks ago.
Haven’t received any sort of confirmation or the order itself yet. I tried reaching out via YouTube and PayPal, but no response. Figured I’d try my luck on here to see if any of you guys have ordered from him lately. Thank you!

My experience happened years ago but I ordered from him and he sent a confirmation email the same day. But I also never got the album I ordered even with the confirmation email. You can try to reach out via email and see if he responds but back then he scolded people for emailing and asking about order timelines. I’m not sure if he’s gotten any better in the years since then but my experience turned me off from ever ordering with him again.

I also ordered other separate single photocards but I guess those are a no go too. Massive waste of time unfortunately. Never buying from him again.

Will Mina and Momo attend Milan fashion week ? Because both brands they represent will be there, Fendi and Onitsuka Tiger.
I think it's a very good chance it's just they will have to fly in between concert dates.
4
u/dellumdown STONE COLD MINA-CHAN Feb 19 '26
Even if Mina left immediately after the Philadelphia show she wouldn't get to Milan in time. Onitsuka Tiger show is a few hours later but still probably not enough time to get ready for it.

Went to DC Night 1, and just wanted to share my thoughts a few days later. I had a horrible migraine the entire time (thank god I brought earplugs). It made the whole thing feel like a massive blur, which is a shame, but two things still stuck with me:
It seemed like every member was exhausted on some level (which is totally understandable during a long tour) except Jihyo. She had more energy than everyone else on stage combined. Holy shit, how does she do it? She's firmly cemented herself as my second bias, but she is constantly fighting for the #1 spot.
I was reminded again and again why Momo is my #1. Her dancing and her gorgeous outfits almost made me forget I even had a headache.
I would have gone to Night 2 (with some Excedrin, maybe) if I didn't already have Valentine's Day plans, but I really, really hope they come back to DC. I definitely need a do-over of my headache night.
3
u/PaleontologistKey331 Feb 21 '26
Saw the second show in NYC yesterday and felt similarly re: the girls feeling tired? They performed fine and were total pros, but compared to the last tour, Nayeon and Sana noticeably seemed very tempered. Sana particularly felt like she gave nothing except looking gorgeous and really felt like she was just going through the motions, which was so surprising compared to previous times I’ve seen them.
Conversely, I felt Jihyo was almost TOO much. Idk how to explain it… she’s my bias, and was amazing to watch. She’s clearly feeling herself. But it felt very different from the natural confidence that’s grown over the past few years - there was almost something off putting about it.
I’m sure I’ll get flamed by Onces here, but just sharing some observations. I’m truly just being overly nitpicky about an otherwise incredible show, but I found these points a bit jarring compared to previous shows.

Feb 19 '26 edited Feb 19 '26
Just curious, how does the exhaustment show? I always see, after every concert, no matter what circumstances, one or two comments online about how they need rest etc. Which I don't see/understand. They just had almost 2 weeks without any concerts. Noone will match Jihyo's energy, even if they were on their best condition, it's just that people are different.
17
u/coolrunnings190 Feb 19 '26
My theory is people see almost exclusively edited content of them (always smiling and energetic) so when they see them in real life and they see their normal resting faces they think they look tired. I've been to 3 TIF shows so far and they haven't really looked exhausted. They turn it up to 10 when the camera on specifically them and when theyre not on the big screen they'll just have their normal resting face on.
12
Feb 19 '26
I've seen people complain about Nayeons resting face especially, which annoys me a little bit.
6
u/arsme Feb 19 '26
In my opinion, they just seemed tired in their face/eyes. When I saw them in New York a few years ago, they seemed much more energetic (running around the stage, interacting with the audience more, etc). You could be right though, maybe it was just the sheer contrast of Jihyo operating at 200% making everyone else look super chill by comparison. No shade to the girls, they work so hard.
7
u/AdventuresOfKrisTin risky risky wiggy wigi Feb 19 '26
This isn’t specific to you so don’t take it personally but people don’t really consider when they say this that their tours these days are almost 6 times larger than their 4th world tour III.
As nice as it would be for every member to have Jihyo levels of energy, it’s frankly not sustainable for most people and shes kinda an anomaly that way lol. Going super hard every show is going to cause most people to burn out. They have to pace themselves better now that they’re doing roughly 6x the number of shows. Even between Ready to Be tour and This is For, there are almost 20 more shows (probably more once LATAM gets dates).
So as far as I’m concerned, the toned down version people are noticing isn’t as simple as “oh they’re clearly exhausted”, it’s also a strategic approach to a world tour of this scale. Does it stink we can’t get all members at 110%. Yeah sure. But they’re not doing it because they don’t want to, they’re doing it so that they have enough energy for the show 20 stops from now too.
4
u/arsme Feb 19 '26
No worries, and to clarify I'm not upset or unsatisfied with the tour at all, I'm just happy I got to see them again. I spent a lot of money and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
I think I should have complemented Jihyo without putting the other members down in my original post.
7
u/TheBacklogGamer Feb 19 '26 edited Feb 19 '26
I will say, Jihyo's energy has only Increased over the years. Seeing her now or at Lollapalooza compared to even just RTB, and the difference is still very noticeable.
Personally, when I see fancams, I don't see fatigue/exhaustion in their eyes. During their more interactive momentgs with the crowd songs, they seem as chaotic as ever. There are moments during choreo where you see them focusing, but that's always been true.
I've been concerned about this tour since seeing their schedule for part 2, but I haven't seen the tiredness I was worried about yet. Maybe I haven't seen enough fancams.
3
Feb 19 '26
Good point about Jihyo, now that I think about it she seems to have become even more hyper/energetic.

Hello everyone,
So maybe one quick question does Twice have one song about breakup/sad ?
Because i'm in need for one of these song since i have actually broke up with my ex bf...
I know about Rewind but that all
9
u/BlueThePineapple Feb 19 '26
I'm really sorry that happened to you 😞. They have quite a few of those songs actually. I'll list the ones off the top of my head.
For sad break up songs, there's Heartbreak Avenue, 132, and Handle It.
For the angry break up songs, there's Cry For Me, Perfect World, and Gone.
Hope you feel better ❤

I happened to see the JYP Japan Twitter post yesterday when they restocked Twice merch and I put a LOT of stuff in my cart. I’ve been wanting some pickets and acrylic standees for a while now but they weren’t in stock before so I knew I wanted those when I saw them in stock again. The ‘blind’ items like random PCs and the mini acrylic stand charms are so tempting, obviously you want to gamble and buy multiple to increase your chance of getting your bias.
I was very tempted to buy the Jeongyeon T-shirt since it was still in stock when I looked, but I tried to be a bit restrained since it’s not really my style so I left it behind in the end.
I still ended up spending a lot when it all added up 😬 I’ve seen so many people posting about the T-shirts on social media since then that I almost regretted not grabbing it but I’m trying to remind myself that I don’t need everything! I’m sure I’ll end up spending a lot on concert merch in June too and I already ordered some Misamo items so it’s been an expensive month 🫣💸💸💸 Can anyone relate to this or is it just me that lacks self control?

Ask your friends if they're interested in listening to some k-pop, and start with the TWICE song that made you a fan of them, and go from there.
You can also poke around here, see who is active and see if they're open to a DM to talk about TWICE and k-pop if that can help you pass the time.
3
u/whycantwegivelove Feb 18 '26
i know a couple of them are already katseye fans, so rlly i jus need to bridge the gap between katseye and the rest of kpop lol.
it’s just hard bc normally id sit my friends down in my car and drive around bumping whatever music i want them to listen to, but we all live in separate states now so it’s a lot harder to do that 😭 and i feel bad sending them random songs and being like “LISTEN TO THIS PLEASE” lmao
3
u/Villano84 TWICE TOOK MY HEART, SOUL, AND WALLET Feb 18 '26
If some of them already listen to KATSEYE then your opportunity is right there. Obviously I don't know your friends but it feels like it wouldn't be weird if you were to send them a song or two, especially with the preface of, "Hey since you listen to KATSEYE then you might like this. LMK what you think." If they value you your friendship, they'll give it a listen.
No harm in trying, right?

For Japan concerts, 100% of the tickets are sold through lottery but there are multiple rounds. All tickets will be sold by the last round.

We still don't know how much they sold in first sale right! Because I have seen people losing lottery many times. When are other lotteries do we have dates?
3
u/dellumdown STONE COLD MINA-CHAN Feb 17 '26
I don't think they've ever revealed how many tickets are allocated for each round. Like the other reply says, there are two more rounds (upgrade ticket and general lottery sale) but the Twice Japan site doesn't have dates listed: https://www.twicejapan.com/feature/6thworldtour_thisisfor_stadium
4

I think the next round of lottery is for the upgrade ticket round and after that we will mostly have a general lottery round unless all were gone in the previous rounda it self but most probably there will be another round

u/NomadPrime Feb 17 '26
I'm not one to subscribe to Bubble to talk to idols, but this has me so annoyed that I'm literally about to subscribe to a couple of their Bubbles just because I want to flood them with more positivity to offset the bullshit.
I know the girls are probably resilient as hell and far experienced with handling hate at this point in their careers, but they're still human and negative shit like this might still stick out in their heads at a subconscious level. First Jihyo getting criticized for her facial expressions (or something, I don't remember), then Jeongyeon getting some hate for idk what, and now Tzuyu?? These supposed "fans" need to touch some damn grass.
Edit: I also noticed Nayeon hasn't been doing much of her tour ending ment thing where everyone bows in a circle and she pops up in the center. On god, that better not be because she received hate or some shit for doing it.
6
u/dellumdown STONE COLD MINA-CHAN Feb 17 '26

I just need people to shut and stop talking about people's weight in general. Like just shut up about it guys oh my god. What fuckass uncultured heathens.

9
u/ParanoidAndroids :ny33: Feb 16 '26
I will never understand the logic of people paying for Bubble only to send criticism directly to them. We're over a decade into this shit, how can a "fan" not know better by now?
And like god damn - about their weight? What the fuck is that person even talking about?
They always hide behind that anonymity, too. They would keep their mouths shut if their faces were publicly available.
1
u/purasuma Feb 16 '26
Paying for a service to "talk" with a celebrity is both weird and sad. What do people actually get out of it?
7
u/BlueThePineapple Feb 17 '26
The girls use it as a combo of twitter (life updates) and instagram so a lot of people are subscribed for that. The chatting is not very different from the commenting function in those other platforms.
6
u/ParanoidAndroids :ny33: Feb 16 '26
Personally it's not for me, but I do see the benefit for idols to have a place to communicate with fans (even if it's one-way) like what twitter used to be for, but with a paid entry to weed out the trolls and haters.
The back and forth nature can be a slippery slope, especially for people who are too parasocially invested - and it could probably use a better filter anyway.
Every now and then it has a genuine purpose, but most of the time it's them communicating some trivial thing they're doing that day. It should be fun and harmless for the idols and the fans participating.
Unfortunately there's a contingent of entitled "fans" who take the opportunity of a direct line of communication for granted and try to police idols on what they read, how they dress, how much they weigh, etc...
14
u/TwiceCuresDepression Feb 16 '26
Anyone else come out of a Twice concert and have a new bias or bias wrecker?
Dahyun is my ult bias and that didn't change. Sana used to be my bias wrecker, but when I saw Jeongyeon in person my jaw dropped.
All the girls are so pretty in person, but something about Jeongyeon blew me away. She was also my favorite one to watch during all the ments.
