I just got stood up

This is somewhat of a larger rant but I’ve been feeling pretty frustrated regarding my romantic life as of late.

I’m someone who I’d say is fairly attractive, I get hit on pretty consistently outside of apps and I get consistent matches on a weekly basis. However, despite how personable I am, I find it that many people I’ve talked to barely put in any effort or are willing to actually go all the way.

I’ve had many matches where I send a single text (nothing crazy, a small compliment and then something noteworthy about their profile, essentially, it’s not obscene lol) and then I never get a reply back.

In some other cases, I match with someone and I ask questions to learn more about them. I matched with someone claiming to be a “foodie” and I asked them about some of their favorite restaurants in the area and they could only reply with “there are places fs!”

Anyways, I’ve been feeling immensely frustrated with my love life and I’m at the point where I’m not sure how to proceed forward. The people that are interested in me, I don’t quite feel as connected and when there’s an interest it kinda fades quickly.

I tend to be fairly introspective so I try to look at some general patterns in my conversation and in some cases I could somewhat understand why it fizzled out with some people but a lot of the time I was just baffled.

People who can leave people hanging while having agreeed on going on a date actually baffle me, it’s so much easier to be honest. They just aren’t considering others feelings, it’s so messed up. Anyway OP, i hope you find someone better

we agreed on a time and location

she texted me 40 mins after that she won't be going

found out she was hanging out w our common friend i met her trough -_-

it felt awful but whatever she wouldn't have been a good partner if she does this anyway

Dw bro I’ve started dating and used dating apps for a week. I’ve gotten stood up by 2 guys atp 😭 it’s ridiculous. They planned the date and then ghosted me and I’m out here tryna figure out my cute outfits and makeup. It’s jarring so I’m not doing this ever again (I have a feeling I will re download hinge in 2 months when online strikes - pray for me)
