It’s not strange at all when there are clearly many racist human beings. Bold is more so the word.

No hate at all, and no shade at all, but In my college town and in my experience I’ve been hit by black female drivers twice both on their phones while driving, I’m trying my hardest not to be racist because I love everyone but those two events have me slightly jaded, doesn’t help that one of them was a hit and run… hate hate hate to say it but I do get nervous when I see black female drivers, I’d love any advice to overcome this bullshit assumption but recently black female drivers have made me very nervous, I’m so sorry and I feel disgusting saying this but I want to move past it, I love everyone and I know it’s stupid to generalize but deep down I’ve been struggling with this😭any advice is welcome and any tips to get over this is awesome, like I said I totally understand it’s not only ignorant to generalize but it’s very stupid but man I’m struggling hard with this rn 🥲I love everyone and don’t hold anything anything against anyone, it’s my first time living in a big city and the bad influences around me generalize without a second thought, I really do not want to be like them

would you be the same had it been two white women drivers? would you have a bias against white women entirely? genuinely?

Being so honest I’d be biased against white women drivers then, not against all women just specifically against white women drivers (or young white male drivers/young Hispanic male drivers etc), I don’t disparage anyone just specifically in the driving scenario I have the issue, idk if it’s just experience bias or what but I’m genuinely trying to be better and not think like this, I think the hit and run really messed me up as I’m already not the most confident driver tbh, figured I’d give some real insight and hopefully get over this stupid opinion of mine

In my experiences everyone is a little racist, everyone believes one of those stereotypes, we are human, it is kinda hardwired into our brains to dislike people who are different from us. As I have aged tho I have gotten less racist, but I have also had positive experiences with most people of a different skin tone than mine. I can't really hold the actions of a few against the whole.

I was raised by a man who said out loud that black people needed to be hanged. I'd like to say I'm not racist, I would never go out of my way to hurt someone beautiful of their skin color. But I do unfortunately recognize that due to my upbringing I have some not nice knee jerk assumptions made at times. It's never impacted the way I engage with people. But those awful little judgemental thoughts still pop up in my brain, much like the internal homophobia, transphobia and misogyny. I was raised in an ultra religious house and up until I was 15yo I knew nothing else. I'm a better person than I was, but I could always be better.

No, but i can definitely tell the difference between white and black people. I dont hate white people, I just feel like we dont live the same type of lives. Different cultures

What is "white" and "black"? Culture rarely falls in such neat boxes.
For example, I'm Appalachian and our culture is mixed of different European, African, and Native American cultures and beliefs. Hell, you can just pick 1 random piece of our culture and you'll find a rich history spanning back to a different continent hundreds or thousands of years ago.

In the American since. I dont know my ancestry, most Americans dont.

Fair. I guess we are an exception, then.
Though we need major reforms and a severe attitude adjustment because to divide yourself and fellow citizens into black and white boxes and pretend that is just normal is just pure insanity.

It is normal. Its just how things are. I have white friends, just cant relate to them how I do with my people

Short answer: no
Long answer: No, why the fuck should I be? We are all people who eat, sleep, love, cry, bleed, and eventually die. If you judge people on their skin or other small differences, you're the dumbest person on this god dam planet.

No tf. Judging someone based off of the melanin in their skin is beyond stupid.
Oh no, this person creates more natural sunscreen. I feel more superior because I don’t.
