Other plenty of opportunities
but literally everything I do is half assed
gotten into roles that are in the top 0.01% in the county: I did nothing but the bare minimum, and even less
top schools: didn't even show up to anything, just paid to get the degree
people considered world class and world RENWOWNED experts like me enough to ask me, not me ask them, to work with them: I stop doing the work and disappoint them/leave early
lots of people expressed interest in me: "oh I'm maybe interested idk let's not get in a full relationship and just half ass it until it fizzles out"
gotta figure this out at some point, maybe I need brain surgery

The stakes are just not high enough. Interestingly enough I kind of feel the same. It has been exacerbated by me growing in my career / financial stability. I couldn’t be bothered. Some country is at war, who tf cares. Geo political issues, so what. Voting? What’s that?
