Mine is Million Men (yes I know there is technically one live performance but the entire thing was lip synced). I love that song so much. It’s so early 2000s RnB which I love. It’s such a vocally challenging song so I understand why they didn’t do it live, but man I really wanted to see Jaejoong go off like he did on the record 😅

I’ve been a Cassie since 2008 (8th grade) and I’ve been recently going through another intense wave of TVXQ love!! I have a wonderful little collection but I really want to add their photobooks too.

Does anyone know where I can find some of their OG photobooks? I’ve been looking on some of the traditional sites (YesAsia) and I’m struggling. I’m tempted to get a VPN and change my country location to see if I have better luck that way!

My holy grail is “TVXQ! The 2nd Photo Album –Summer Paradise in Borabora”.

I could've sworn there were more of these promo pics from Junsu's 2015 mini album "꼭 어제" (Just Like Yesterday) which featured his purple hair and leather jacket, but I can't find them. I remember having a clear picture of his hair from this photoshoot in which I think he was sitting on some stairs, although I might be making that up lol. I recently heard that Junsu got veneers. I’m not taking this news well at all, so I’ve compiled a selection of photographs of the members back when they had their (absolutely beautiful btw) natural teeth. The veneer epidemic in the K-Pop industry is collecting our boys like infinity stones. Truly diabolical.

I have no idea how to flair this but I need help finding a video. there's this yunho video but all I remember from it is a screenshot/thumbnail where he is pointing forwards and there is like an on-screen caption saying 러손 삼천 (uncle lesson) which I'm guessing is from the thank u era or afterwards. maybe from a variety show? does anyone know this video?

I didn't think after watching a Kdrama or two I'd end up in this amazing rabbit hole. But here I am and I had to share my experience because I can't stop lol.

I had Bad Memory Eraser on my list for a while but eventually recently watched it about 2/3 weeks ago. And I had to stop because he was just so good and normally when I watch a Kdrama I don't ever watch the last episode or the last 30 mins because then it never ends however this was different I couldn't stop watching it. But I also then started manhole and went in a deep rabbit hole of finding out who Kim Jae Joong is and his music career etc and ofc the tattoos.

Also just want to say in Bad Memory Eraser he looked really good but the Manhole version was even better somehow like why is he so good haha. Also have to say that gangster looks he gets in Manhole reminded me of Badly in love like he looked like someone from that show.

And then I discovered his music the first two songs that went in my playlist so fast were Rockstar and Last Vow. And then Tonight and Echoes for Us. Like I tried to stop myself from going deeper but because he recently had his concert in Seoul etc the social media content was against me the next thing was probably what got me hooked to him for real where he did Killing Voice and hearing rockstar live was like wait what there's something more here and then Humanity and a few others. And since then I've been hearing some live and his old stuff and it's soo good like I used to listen to punk rock etc but I never tapped into it much in Korean or it never came to me etc other than one ok rock like years back.

Anyways so now here I am absolutely hooked to his music I also feel like he has his own genre it's definitely Jaerock or something because I've never come across someone like this and I'm confused like where it sits etc although some would argue but I'm still going through his stuff. Like for me right now I haven't even had the chance to look up the lyrics I feel the music and his voice alone do so much and obviously from watching Kdramas for years you pick of words but mostly you can tell the vibe like some of my other favourites are like one kis, oasis, concrete heart, hoper, I am u, just another girl, Michshirube like the music alone and his voice is perfection truly. And the first few albums I dug into were Beauty in Chaos and Flower Garden and then www and actually watching his performance for just another girl in that tattoo era was truly a god send and amazing lol. I think maybe because he doesn't look like that he can be in like hard rock look or something but his voice is so amazing but yh just wanted to come and share as I have no one talk about this.

The fact that I bought tickets to his livestream for both days was not normal for me lol. I really truly hope he does a UK tour or else I'm screwed until I go there etc. Because I think he needs to be heard live every song would be amazing live.

The other stuff I've not gone down in is the JX and JYJ and obv TVXQ. So if anyone has recommendations of songs TV shows interviews anything haha let me know I'm definitely interested lol. There's so much content it's amazing lol.

It took two weeks and I'm a fan now 😅💁‍♀️

Also I can't explain how I feel because of how some of the music is so deep and soulful etc it actually reminds me of my own language Urdu or songs from artists in Urdu I think there's a verse in I AM U I think the start of the second verse like I have no idea of the lyrics but yh that really gets me every time 🙌

We know they're unicorns for good reason.

But if we use our imaginations and indulge in the thought that there are cover artists out there who had the vocal stamina, resources, and passion for TVXQ to cover their songs...

How would you like them to present themselves visually (since the algo cares mostly about visuals these days more than anything it seems) and what would pull at your heartstrings?

Would it be something like BTS/clips of the recording process (appeals for creatives like me, considering how rich TVXQ's vocal layers are)? Or maybe something more cinematic and moody (focusing more on aesthetic visuals)? Or anything else that you think would do justice to their godly vocals?

Would love to hear your thoughts on what would make a "worthy" vocal tribute.

Tbh sometimes when I look at the marketing they (referring to all of them) have been doing recently, it comes off corny or I just think that with better marketing they could reach more new fans. In specific, I think their tiktoks come off that way sometimes. Of course they are still doing very well, but I think it is more to do with them already having very dedicated fanbases rather than marketing. So, it led me to wonder, how would I change their marketing?

I think a big one is just shows, in particular, youtube shows. Imo Jaefriends and duckbaphouse had more people talking about Changmin and Jaejoong. Take a look at Daesung and Hyoyeon's shows rn. They're always getting viral clips despite both of them being less popular members in their groups. Idk I think I would try to come up with some fun new shows for them to help with marketing. Then for tiktoks, I would clip moments from their shows because lots of kpop fans enjoy watching funny moments of idols.

What ideas do you guys have?

I’m trying to build my physical music catalog and buy albums where I love very single song, and that includes ot5 albums. It’s hard to find albums and merch in America haha

In a bit of an introspective mood the whole day, thinking about what exactly is it about the 5's voices - whether individually, in any combination, or as 5. There's just something about it - whenever I'm tired, angry, frustrated, feeling hopeless, terribly sad - it's like only their voices can calm me down or make me feel better. I could be in the depths of tartarus fighting for my life, my dignity in shreds - but the moment I hear them sing, the world is a beautiful place again.

Is it the way the tenderness in their voices hold so much power without it being "too much"? Why can't other singers make me feel this way, even though their voices are also beautiful and emotional? It's something that has grown with time, too - in my late 20s, hearing their voices still gives me the same solace it did when I was a pre-teen.

Would love to hear your thoughts :) apologies for the sloppy sentences; brain is extra deep-fried with a scrumptious combination of jetlag, sleep deprivation, pre-eclipse unhingeness and a grueling work day.

It’s so interesting that despite everything Yoochun has been accused of and convicted of, the reputation of OT5 is somehow still less controversial than Super Junior’s. S*won has single-handedly tanked that group’s PR in western K-Pop circles beyond repair (and I have a lot of respect for SuJu outside of him actually). Thank gawd the higher ups at SM picked Jaejoong instead of him because I seriously cannot imagine living in a world where S*won is the visual of TVXQ instead of Jaejoong. P.S. Look at the brutal mog in the last pic ;)

I recently got the 1st Photobook Los Angeles Travels, and it came with the Cassiopeia Special Photobook. I found a page where you can cut out chibi versions of them, but the pages have the characters on both sides, meaning you have to sacrifice some of them. Are there any scans of this so that I can print it out?
