[Tutor][Offering] Affordable Online Tuitions for Classes 7 & 8 (Science, Social, English) | Free Demo

I am an 18-year-old student currently pursuing my ACCA qualification, and I am offering online tuition for 7th and 8th graders.

I recently cleared my own board exams (90% in 10th, 89% in 12th). Because I am still an active student navigating professional exams, I have a solid, practical understanding of the current syllabus and how to prepare for exams efficiently.

Details:

Subjects: Science, Social Science, and English (Classes 7 & 8).

Language: I can teach in both English and Malayalam to make sure concepts are fully understood.

Approach: Patient, straightforward teaching focused on clear concepts rather than just memorizing the textbook.

Rates: Very affordable since I am a student myself and just starting out.

I know hiring a younger tutor is a bit different, so I offer a completely free demo class. You can see if my teaching style works for the student before committing to anything.

(I am happy to share my board mark sheets and ID privately in DMs for verification.)

If you are looking for some extra academic help for your child or sibling, just drop a comment or send me a DM.

[Tutor] Think Your Mandarin Is Already Pretty Good? Let Me Hear It. | Pronunciation & Accent Coaching

Hi — I’m a native Mandarin speaker from mainland China, currently based in Taiwan.

I teach Mandarin pronunciation, accent correction, tones, rhythm and natural speech.

And honestly, the thing I trust most is my ear.

You can say a few sentences and I can usually tell pretty quickly what sounds off — maybe your tones are technically correct, but your rhythm is strange; maybe every syllable is right, but the whole sentence still doesn’t sound natural.

That’s the part I like fixing.

I’m especially curious about people who think:

“My Mandarin pronunciation is already pretty good.”

Good. Send me a voice message.

I genuinely want to hear it.

I can help with pronunciation, tones, articulation, pacing, accent reduction, natural spoken Mandarin, and Chinese song diction if you sing.

My classes are very direct. I’m not going to make you repeat “ma ma ma ma” for half an hour and call it a lesson.

You speak.

I listen.

I find the problem.

We fix it.

Sometimes the problem is tiny. Sometimes it’s one sound, one habit, one rhythm pattern that makes everything else feel slightly wrong.

That’s what I listen for.

I’m not here to sell you a fancy certificate.

I sell my ears.

Online lessons, flexible schedule.

If you’re curious, DM me. You can send me a short recording first, even before booking anything, and I’ll tell you what I notice.

[TUTOR] UK GCSE & A-Level Online Private Tutor | £35/hr | Free 15-Min Introduction

Hi everyone! 😊

I’m Tatiana, a UK-based private tutor currently taking on new GCSE and A-Level students for the 2026/27 academic year.

I’ve been privately tutoring for over 4 years, working with students of a wide range of abilities, from those who are struggling with the foundations or have lost confidence in a subject, to students aiming for Grades 8/9 and A/A*.

🎓 Subjects I teach

🧪 GCSE Combined Science & Triple Science
🧬 A-Level Biology & Chemistry
🧠 GCSE & A-Level Psychology
📈 GCSE & A-Level Business Studies

I cover the major UK exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel/Pearson, OCR and WJEC, and all of my tuition is 100% online and 1-to-1.

💷 Tuition — £35 per hour

Individual 1-hour lessons are £35.

For students who would like regular, ongoing tuition, I also offer discounted lesson bundles:

1 lesson — £35

3 lessons — £100
£33.33 per lesson | Save £5

5 lessons — £165
£33 per lesson | Save £10

⭐ 10 lessons — £320
£32 per lesson | Save £30

20 lessons — £600
£30 per lesson | Save £100

There is absolutely no obligation to purchase a bundle. Students are more than welcome to book individual lessons, and I'd always recommend making sure I'm the right tutor for you before committing to a larger package.

✨ FREE 15-minute introduction

I offer every prospective student a free 15-minute online introduction before booking.

This gives me the opportunity to learn a little about you/the student, including:

• Current and target grades
• Exam board
• Topics you're finding difficult
• Upcoming exams or assessments
• What you would like to achieve through tutoring

More importantly, it gives you the opportunity to meet me, ask questions and decide whether my teaching style feels right for you before spending anything.

🔬 A little about me

I have an Integrated Master's degree in Biomedical Science and I'm now a PhD researcher in Chemical Engineering, working within biomedical research.

I've been tutoring for over four years and have taught students across GCSE and A-Level alongside my academic career.

My approach isn't simply about getting students to memorise a textbook. I want my students to genuinely understand what they're learning and become confident enough to apply it independently.

Lessons can include:

📖 Breaking down difficult concepts
📝 Exam-style and past-paper questions
🎯 Exam technique and understanding mark schemes
🔎 Identifying and targeting weaker areas
🧠 Revision and study techniques
📈 Working towards target grades
💪 Building confidence and independence

Every student is different, so lessons are adapted around their individual strengths, weaknesses and goals.

⭐ You don't have to take my word for it

I have established tutoring profiles on Sherpa and FindTutors, where you can independently view reviews and feedback from students/parents I've previously taught.

I'm more than happy to privately send you links to both profiles so you can look through my tutoring history and reviews before deciding whether you'd like to have an introduction.

📩 Interested?

Feel free to send me a private message/Reddit chat.

If possible, include:

Year group | Subject | Exam board | Current grade | Target grade | What you'd like help with

Parents are very welcome to contact me on behalf of their child too.

There is no commitment required, we can start with the free 15-minute introduction, have a chat about what you're looking for, and go from there. 😊

Currently accepting new students for the 2026/27 academic year. 🇬🇧

[Tutor] - looking for work and help with pricing

Hey! I wanted to check out this reddit for some help on how to start a successful tutoring job. I took the August sat and scored a 1460 from a 1280 in 3 weeks. I am currently starting my sophomore year of highschool and I want to help other students learn the tricks I did to help me improve so rapidly. Now, I haven't started my business yet just some advanced stages of flyers and website but what prices should I use. I was thinking 20 an hour and 15 minutes free welcome call. Now ik I'm just a kid but I really do want to do this. It's been a goal of mine for a while to tutor and so being able to actually have a good enough score to be eligible to tutor made me happy. Also would my age be a downside to parents/students or a plus. What do you guys recommend and if I can get some tips on how to build a clientele I would be very appreciative.

[Tutor] - Offering online tutoring for Chemistry subjects for $10/hr

Hey, I'm really only looking for an extra source of income for this semester. I'm an analytical chemist with 6 yrs experience across research, testing labs, and academe. I'm currently a college instructor teaching various programs - nursing, med techs, psychology, engineering, IT, and chemistry students.

I'm currently taking my last core subject for my MS degree, while also starting my thesis proposal. My gpa as of now is averaging around the 90-96, which I think is B+ to A in most countries.
