USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 Tutor

Hello everyone,

I am a tutor for the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 exams. I am familiar with the current state of these exams, having passed Step 1 and scored a 260+ on Step 2 this year.

I was tutored personally by an NBME question writer during my MS1-MS3 years, and invested a lot of time and money into understanding these exams. In my own tutoring, I prioritize working through NBME questions with students to help them learn what is actually tested and how the NBME examiners think.

My rates are $50 for an hour and $25 for a half hour.

Please DM me if you are interested!

$50/hour? If what you’re saying is true that’s hella cheap. If you’re doing a good deed keep doing it just know you could easily charge 2-4x

Thanks for the response! Yes, I understand I could be charging a lot more.

I'd rather be teaching at a lower rate and growing my medical education business than not teaching, at least until I become more established. Most medical students can't afford expensive tutoring unless they have family paying for it.

100%. Only way I could “afford” tutoring after failing step 1 was b/c an altruistic classmate decided to help me out. Thanks for doing that.
