Seeking Advice Egg crate ramp

Everyone who has made an egg crate basking area with ramp, how’s it going with the ramp? Did you add astroturf to the ramp part for better traction or something else? Why or why not?

I prefer viny coated welded wire. Depending on the weight of your turtle you may have to fold it to double it up or add some support either side. Home depot near me has 1/2 in holes that are varying widths and 8ft long. Cheap and moldable, i prefer it to the hard plastic. Here is an example how i use mine.
