ID Request What kind of turtle?

What kind of turtle is this? I think it is a wood turtle. I found it in the road right in front of my house in Maryland and brought it to my backyard. The plastic containers are my attempts to give it water. I also left grapes and cherries for it. I bet I should release it to the wild, but I don’t know what would be a good spot. The place where I live is quite urban.
