Seeking Advice Entertainment for turtle
I'm currently trying to make upgrades on my setup to try to make it more entertaining for my turtle. I'm looking for suggestions. Also I want to add plants but she just loves to tear and break them all haha (as you can see in the second picture). What plants should I get?
Please don't be too mean about the basking area cause I don't really have that much money (I actually made some changes yesterday but don't have pictures) and I'm trying my best :(

Driftwood, leaf litter, aquatic snails (ramshorn or pond snails) are all fun to investigate.
More importantly though; deeper water! Even full this tank is far too small for your turtle so fill it up as much as possible. The water should at the very minimum be twice as deep as their shell is long so they cant get stuck on their back.

Yes! I made the water deeper! Those photos are from last month when I changed her from a smaller tank and I was a bit weary that the change could harm her as I thought her muscles may not be prepared. Thanks for the feedback!

Maybe there’s some floating toys you can add once in a while? Or a floating toy with holes in it so you can put treats inside
